Sorry to hear you had a difficult night @outlander. I can understand how hard it is to relate and talk to peers of your age. The reason is being that you are more mature than them because of the situation you are put in. It isn't a bad thing. Don't worry about being able to relate to people your age. As long as you are able to talk to someone - no matter the age, that is more important. If possible, go out and enjoy some form of nature or something to relax you, even if it is for a small time frame. Just clear your mind if you can.
The course was only for a couple days. It was really good and informative. It gives basic mental health first aid skills but does not make me any expert. We get a booklet of information which is a handy book to refer to.

Hi @outlander
so happy that you are out of hospital and you have in place some work you going to do. You are a very brave and strong woman, remember that when you feel that you are falling.
You are so worthy of good things and I can see you improving your life so much ![]()

Hey @outlander. Just dropping in to say hi to you. Feeling very down myself, but I had a great appointment with my new support worker which is a good thing. We're going to work on nearly every aspect of my life including saying goodbye to my abusive family members.

Hello dear @Owlunar
youve only got to meantion the world 'dog' im already getting anxiety. Its a massive trigger so the other day really didnt help me one bit. I actually think the pain searing through my foot might have been another trigger.
It doesnt bother me realating to older people but when people tell me to get a life and hang around people my own age it makes it very hard. So when people say hang around people your own age I just dont know how to. I can be around a bunch of elderly people and fit in better than hanging around 20yr olds. Ive gotten some funny looks from people when they have no idea what im talking about in regards to life experiences.
I think ive had more than enough experiences and experiments done to me- if you get what I mean- ive just had enough. I wish I could rewind time and be able to change quite a lot of things but I dont think I would be the person I am today if I didnt have those experiences as much as they are dreadful. I think me being a better person and being able to help others in the same situation-any age group- so thats the only good thing out of this.
I know you care. I can feel it through your words
I hope you are taking care of yourself to @Ant7
im use to bad nights and bad days @Anony18 they seem to just flow into one day.
I know its not always bad being able to relate to others not in my age group but sometimes I wish I could just be a 'normal' 20yr old and be able to say im going out partying or having a drink tonight but I dont. I dont do anything. Im soo boring.
I spent 3 hours at the beach yesterday. I havent gotten a chance to got there today. The day got away from me and ive been flat out since 12.
that course sounds really useful. I might take a look into that myself.
Hello @BlueBay
im not happy to be out, id rather be there right now. Ive had things pile on top of me and that was only the first day out. But I cant do much else about that now. I have to just keep to my plans.
I can only improve things ever so slowly. Slower than what id like but I guess any movement is better then going backwards.

Ok so today I was suppose to be taking things easy but I shouldve known better.
I got the part care horses done. I had a massive panic attack earlier today! Bigger than last night. Im quite tired from than that now. But I did accomplish things I didnt think I was going to do today
1. I told my horses owner that when the month is up ill be giving her back. Everything went smoothly!
2. I spoke to my boss and she said theres no way shes letting me go as a worker!
3. I spoke to my friends and told them I ending the lease and everything went smoothly!
That f**k for that! I can not be more releived right now!

I'm so happy for you @outlander that things went smoothly. I bet that has taken a huge weight off your shoulders. You should be proud of yourself for broaching the subjects, even though you didn't know what the outcomes would be. Well done!
