Hi @outlander
I have read back on your thread since yesterday and you are right - you have been your mother's slave and punching bag for your whole life and this is totally wrong
So you relate to older people, kids and animals - horses - forget about the dogs yes - I understand - I don't like dogs much either - but the mindset of a 40 yo isn't that bad - just not what you need at your age - I get it
About the dog and the stress you got from the dog the other day - smell is a very strong trigger and even a small dog is a dog and having one run at you like that would bring back memories to powerful to deal with - this is so tough - yes
And about not having had a childhood - I did - but I was also totally unprepared for adult life either - it was a case of kids don't need to know anything - but when I was 21 I was expected to know everything - and my siblings had the same thing - in a world where social media did not exist and TV was pretty poor - anyway - d'uh - I get it - you are way out of your depth with people your own age and darn - had it rough all the way - it's really hard for you to know now at your age
You must wonder how this happened but also you have not been allowed to grow through it - like instant "Outlander" - just add water - not at all fair
I'm sorry about the horse - you have done your best with this unfortunate animal - this must count somewhere in the universe - still more sorry bout that -
And about you having things easy - let me say it again - you don't - it's very hard for you and easy for people to tell you - how does one learn how to live their life with so few choices
When we are young part of growing up is making mistakes and yes - it is natural for small people to experiment - and the success or failure of such experiences is how we learn
And as for finding yourself - alas - there is no instant just add water person -
I really care Outlander
