@Former-Member today was just the ultrasound. but they are their tomorrow so im hoping to get into my gp on wednesday to get the results im completely dreading it cause if she says MRI i have to pay the gap fee then and there and i wont have it. i need it though becasue i know the ultrasounds going to come up clear, i had one done last year and it was the same. thats why i wanted to jump to an mri becasue itll show the cracks in bones and things too
i know its going to take a while but why do i always have to be the grown up and do EVERYTHING. why cant my mother go there tomorrow and take the girls

OK hopefully you won't need @outlander MRI.You have to face it outlander,I know you remind me of me,my PTSD and anxiety only needs a slight trigger.
When I walked early yesterday for my depression,I used to be really early when I was at the farm, that's the earliest I've been since. It was good but I was triggered and quite distressed at times.I can't go to my dad's grave, because of it,and it's like the bedroom of stuff that includes my electric piano I haven't played since.I want to deal with it and when I try,I just close the door because I can't f***** handle it.The only thing is you have another life there that needs you .

Hi @outlander
I know you get blamed but it's impossible for everything to be your fault - I have an idea

Hi @outlander
I know you get blamed but it's impossible for everything to be your fault - I have an idea
I think you need to say something different - eg - "I know that things don't go the way my mother forcibly wants them to but that's life happening. She is not going to get her way 100% of the time"
To me she lacks spine - she lets her dingbat of a bf take over the verbal combat and you are naturally afraid of men - and she doesn't know that - and really - thinking about this - it would not be a good idea for you to tell your mother at this stage or ever - it was her partner at the time who hurt you and it would make it so much harder for you if you told her and she wouldn't believe you either -
You do need help with the trauma though
Your birthday - I get it - it's responsible to say that you have already made plans with your friends for your birthday and they don't include your party - tell your mother that if you go to the birthday party it would be horrible for you because your friends are not going to come and you choose to be with them
Aahh - I just realised that it's your 21st birthday - I understand - your mother has an idea it would be great to give you a party but truly - this is too little to late and you already have something happening
Yes - it will be tough but not your fault - you are not to blame here - and it would be responsible to tell her before she books everything
I don't envy you - my mother insisted on a white wedding and I was far from well recovering from a ruptured appendix when I got married. The few photos that I have of my wedding show me to be extremely thin and strained physically - they kept pressing for the white wedding and I was about your age and couldn't really see I had the right to argue - so yes - I really get it - parents can really take their time in understanding that adult children have the right and need to exercise their rights
I can only write what I think and feel and this is a rotten situation for a young woman - it shows your mother to be passive-aggressive and her bf to be a bully
Sheesh - thinking of you
