Not your fault @outlander Thats the depression projecting again. Sexual abuse and disrespect "is not what loving relationships are". When love is present each other upholds the dignity and welfare of their partner as much as their own. Love never hurts the beloved......You will know this love one day my friend. It is healing. Dream of it and the good things to come as the best in life is waiting for you. For now rest your weary mind and sleep soundly. Sweet dreams ❤️

Hi @outlander
The abuse was not your fault - I know you feel as if it was but it happens that most people who have been abused feel that it was their fault and this is not so.
There is not need to feel so badly about other people and what they do - someone took it into their mind to abuse you - your mother was having unprotected sex and probably feels as if she was at fault for getting pregnant - maybe she was assaulted too - but still - that is not your problem
There is so much to answer here - or at least comment upon
@Former-Member@Former-Member- both of you have added similar things about being the butt of other people's bad behaviour - and no - it's not your fault - I am glad you have both contributed here and I will leave things at this point because these issues are the fault of others - and then - we need therapy for the deep issues in your lives
And outlander - I can see you are working really hard to make the week when you have the kids work out well - I hope it does - you are generous toward your mother in a way she doesn't consider and she seems to be a taker - take - bad talk or no talk - let the man take over
There is so much there it's like land mines in your life
And it sucks

Thanks @Owlunar,but I can see @outlanders' problems through my experiences.Finished making my old mother's bed this morning which I make and change sheets weekly ,she came in and started whinging.I had a bad day yesterday, trying to get myself going, didn't need it or deserve it.She then starts the usual how I'm abusing her.I know it's her,but that is what led me to having a breakdown 5 years ago.I can't go out myself without guilt but I cop that.Tell her continually had four years of counseling because of her treatment. So yes I've had "the problem is I was born" past hour and I have a very self centred ungrateful demented mother on my hands with the strong thoughts of SC and planning because that is the height of my distress at the moment. Its easy to make others problems manifest on your shoulders and stuff your life.
