That's good outlander!Doing something like that can help you feel better about yourself, even if it's respite.Havent had it done for three years? Not even a trim,?I'm overdue for a trim and feel like witchy-poo!Hope the psychiatrist appointment goes well.🐎

Good on you @outlander for going to the hair salon. A bit of self care goes a long way. I spend more on my dog's grooming than my own. I just got my hair done and it feels great. Hope they do an excellent job.

I think I could start a bit of a circle here . . . knowing that I can bring a smile to your face Claire, brings a smile to my own

Hi @outlander

I have been reading your thread though I haven't been writing much - battling here myself but not enough to stop caring about other people

You are having a hard time - I can't tell if you need to go back to hospital - only you know that - but I think I said before that people will try and make you be what you used to be and it is so hard when you are the only one doing the changing

I don't know what to suggest - having your hair done is a good idea and it seems that you care about other people more than yourself and this is not good at all. We need to care for ourselves too - sometimes put ourselves first

All the best with the psyche today - I hope s/he really listens to you - i really get it - when nothing that normally feels good for you just doesn't help at all - that's a sign of depression

Thinking of you and hoping for the best - knowing how hard that is

Re: when is it time for hospital

well im not really sure what to make of the psychiatrist appointment today

she wasnt too happy that i went off the mood stabilizers but its a choice of sleep or mood. i dont know. i just followed drs orders. so she want to review them again in 3 weeks time yet again. so until then i have to keep putting up with things. my psychiatrist also told me im putting on alot of weight!. well that makes me feel awesome- eat healthy, getting fitter, 20hrs of horse paddock cleaning in less than a week, walk everyday and still gaining weight which is obviously noticeable- jsut not crash hot on the way she came out about it

my hair went well though. looks good

Re: when is it time for hospital

Yes I don't like the sound of her mentioning your weight outlander ,and is it relevant to the medication,or the fact that you are like the rest of us and battling with cortisol?. Her tactics suck, and I question if that's help or harm?5Their abuse of power and their ego amazes me.When she mentioned it you should've said when you can't sleep, you eat 5 cans of baked beans and 1 kgoff nuts just to see the look on her face!Lol.I have had plenty of that in my lifetime and it's unnecessary, unless she knew it is in relation to your medication.

Glad you are happy with your hair.😉
