hi @Owlunar

I am still sruggling to get back into the swing of things though. Ive been out for 3 or 4 days now and im still I dont know flaoting but not knowing where or what to do next.
I always have anxiety and my moods are all over the place but I have medications that should hopefully start to kick in within the next week to help with that.

At least mum and her bf are trying I suppose. The main thing was all the responsibilities but they have been good since ive been out ive only watched them here and there and next week they are with me for three full days but not all at once just like every second day which is ok. I dont expect over night changes but as long as changes are happening.

Yes I stuck with honesty. My brain was shouting out the truth anyway, without even realising it.
The nurse, after I spoke to the psych, said do you have any idea what you said? As in not abd way but I was so zoned out I didnt actually realise I was saying anything or said things before I even thought about it.

Re: when is it time for hospital

Hi @outlander

I have been in hospital for a variety of reasons through the years - there was a long period of time when I was in-and-out like through a revolving-door because I kept burning out over my son - a few days in and a few weeks out etc

And I can reassure you that what you are experiencing - floating and finding it hard to find your feet etc - is pretty normal - been there - I can tell you it passes and this is when you need to figure out what you want and how to make sure you get it and in time your medication will work and hopefully the anxiety will pass

But alas - degrees of anxiety are part of life - and most people have anxiety at some stage and I do understand

And it does sound as if your mother and her bf are trying - yes - you did have too much responsibility and they are taking that up atm - and it's up to you to make sure they never load you up again

It was good that you told the truth - the truth can never get muddled up - I like the truth - it is easier to remember esp when you have zoned-out

Apart from the anxiety you are doing well -

Hope you enjoy the movies, had a filling done when the last toy story movie came out,SAT there spaced out from numbness after needle but loved it.Wont be going back to him outlander, not a good way to conduct a business at all.

Anxiety is hard, especially at a high level when you don't know what to do with yourself.

@Former-Member@Shaz51

the movie was pretty good. too many kids though, constantly talking screaming or running up and down the isles but movie was good. better than sitting at home i suppose.

how are you today?

Re: when is it time for hospital

Yes I hate school holidays outlander! My anxiety is triggered by yelling kids,or if babies are screaming or crying in shops.Had a bad experience with neighbors when I moved away who were very antisocial, which made it worse. As well it's your tolerance other people who don't have kids often tell me the same.Never felt clucky when I see a baby, but give me a baby animal and I'm in love instantly!

I'm calmer today, going to bed soon as I said, couldn't wind down last night .Wanted to go for a walk but had to wait for a tonne of box wood to come and stacked it..Made pumpkin soup, cleaned, and that was it.

Glad the movie was good but the kids running up and down the aisle I couldn't handle.Once I was in watching a movie and a disabled bloke was in there with cerebral palsy making funny noises with his mouth. It was very irritating. But when I had a reaction to a antidepressant after only being on themor three days,I suffered involuntary muscle spasms of arms and torso, vocalised syllables when I got agitated, and facial ticks.I often think of my judgement of him when I went through that which I had for six to 12 months after only three days on those drugs.

Re: when is it time for hospital

@Former-Member yep one of my biggest triggers are screaming, crying or yelling kids and it doesnt matter how much im around them it never lessens how much it affects me.

im glad your calmer today, i hope you get some more sleep tonight

we were right up the back but right in front of the isle witht he stairs to walf up the back and arrghh they kept coming up and down and then the kid next to me kept rattling popcorn- like shaking the bucket up and down to mix it up but it was contstant- i wanted to get out of there and my patience was wearing thin becasue i was getting irritated and kids in there were setting the anxiety off so it was a loooong 2 hours!

that sounds like a dreadful AD reaction! wow i hope i dont get that! though i think im stabel with the meds now i hope...

ill be heading to bed soon. ive taken my meds but ive taken a liking to going to bed around 1 am at the moment which is a pain!
