@outlander sending you love and strength my dear friend

Sorry my day IRL took over and I wasn't here for you. Now you are in a safe place i believe and will get some help to break the cycle and get your meds sorted. And hopefully your needs will at last be recognised by your family. Caring for you so deeply right now. Hoping they let you have communication soon. I had been wanting to tell you how much better it is to go to hospital voluntarily than involuntary. Trust they are caring well for you and you are sleeping or resting deeply now.

Re: when is it time for hospital

@outlander sorry I've only caught up with this now. In a way I am glad you were taken to hospital, you were in such need of help that only a hospital stay can provide. I do hope this provides your Mum and her bf with the much needed wake up call, that you have a serious issue and need to be taken seriously. I hope now you are resting and finally getting the help you rightly deserve. Take care and hugz!

Re: when is it time for hospital

Oh @outlander, I'm sorry you're having a forced ambulance trip and forced hospital admission to cope with.. This can be very distressing. Please dont beat yourself up about it, or them. You have been unwell, tortured for some time now, and this is the only way the system knows how to help you. Please try to trust the process toward recovery. You'll be ok. We're here for you too, when you can post again. Please let us know how you are. Several of us here on the forums have been on n hospital lately, youre not alone. Biiiiiiiiig Cyber Hug 💞❤💞❤💞❤💞

Thinking of you @outlander. Shouldn't be too much longer and they'll let you communicate with the outside world again including us here. Hope you're ok with what's happening and making some progress that is starting to feel better. With love xx

Re: when is it time for hospital

Popping past to say hi @outlander and also to let you know we're all still here, still waiting for you to be ready and able to return.

These experiences can be very challenging but can definitely have positive outcomes in terms of growth and recovery. Being stuck in the place you were with little shifting or movement in a forwards direction, and if anything more moving backwards, probably wasn't helping you. I'm really hoping that this has changed the stuck place you were in. Things will be different from here in one way or another.

Thinking of you often x

Oh Claire! @outlander

I've pre-written a post for you - I'll put it in, it'll give you something to read at least. I have to admit I think hospital is a good move Though my hearts doing not so little flip-flops and I'm sending caring, love and hugs to you

This is what I'd written:-

Hello Claire,

Fly away little Dove! Even if you can't do so permanently, find somewhere you can go. Ask all the professionals your seeing if they know of a way that can help you get out of your home situation at times (or permanently, you can still care for your Pop - just have somewhere to call your own home, even if it's just a room or a van) I think you need that little bit of space that is yours alone.
You are an adult, nobody has the right to tell you what medications you can or cannot have! Your family broke the law in taking your tablets, whether they threw them out or held them against your will - it's wrong!
Your going to come across a lot of brick walls throughout your experiences in life, people who won't 'see' anything but there own bricks. I don't think there's any real help in trying to knock them down, all I think you can do is go around them and avoid them. They're so tall you can't see over them, you can't dig under them, you can't even see what's around the corner from them; but I think that corner has to be navigated - Sure, you'll get around there and find {most probably} another brick wall, I think that's what life's about, navagating the maze of brick walls. You still get to choose which corners you take. It's not easy, but if you try it you might find that it's a bit easier than the brick wall your hitting your head so hard against right now.
I'm terrible at communicating, so I find I look lots of things up online; find an email to someone that might help, send a message - often, if they can't help they will do their best to point me in the direction of someone that can. Try Centerlink, I don't think any Government is good, but on a Global scale I think our country has one of the best - they may be able to point you in the direction of financial counselling or a Social Worker or something. Just keep trying, it is the best you can do, if you give up things will not get better.
Maybe your 'special' thing you want to do for yourself, should be an overnight stay somewhere - somewhere that fits your budget - it might be more relaxing than any massage or body of water could ever be for you! I don't know how cognitive your Pop is, I seem to remember it's his house and that the rest of your family intends to move on. Have you tried talking to him about things? Old people might be a bit slower at thinking things through - but they can still think and have a lifetime of experience on their side 😄

A great big, cuddly bear hug and a super accurate, sloppy kiss on the cheek for you ❤️

Love you Claire

(Please feel free to ignore any of what I've just typed, or grab any piece that takes your fancy 🙂 )

Now back to current writings - Take care of you in there, rest and relax as much as possible. It's not the type of 'break' I was hoping for you, but it is a break. Try to use it to help yourself heal, both the obvious physical things and the not obvious ones. Can't send you enough love right now - I'm thinking of you, I always am 🙂
