Checking In

Checking In

I thought I would start a thread for myself and other members to check in. I thought also needed a thread for myself after being in hospital recently too. Hope its helpful for others too.

I had not so bad today, my anxiety levels are less and feeling a bit more energentic which I think is good.To me that is a good sign. I have start to put my recovery plan in to action from my hospital admission. Tomorrow I think my staffy dog will be needing surgery, she had had another mast cell tumour. I truly feel for her, she has been fighting this cancer for almost four years, she is so strong and courgeous.

This week I have a specialist appointment twice and seeing my other Doctor once this week. I think with me and Kira I am going to have a busy week.

No wonder you are tired @Shaz51. I haven't had a great day today - really tired and flat. Holding on for now!

Re: Checking In

I feel like I am doing much better than I have been and coping much better with days like this @Shaz51

I do struggle a lot when I haven't had any or a little sleep. The past few days have been very frustrating with the allergic reaction. I was already feeling really vulnerable and flat before the dentist and then 'stuff' happened and now it is all taking it's toll on me both physically and mentally. I'll get through it - just finding it all a bit hard at present.

oh @Shaz51 I had a reaction to the anaesthetic at the dentist - face, neck, chest and back red and itchy and face and neck very swollen - nearly went to ED (had 000 ready to call an ambulance at one stage)

Re: Checking In

settling down. Swelling has gone right down and itching is ok - gets aggrevated a little when I get hot but I'm in Tassie so that is quite manageable lol @Shaz51 Cancelled my dentist app for later this week until we find out what reacted together

Re: Checking In

That stuff is like lollies to me lol - I do have some medication for mozzie bites (very allergic) but with all the meds I have been taking it is really important that we find out what interacted and not add anymore in at this stage @Shaz51
