Re: Safety

If you stick your face in a pillow and half scream while you exhale it will let out a little of that pressure without making a noise - I do this (used to do this) a lot at school when the kids were really annoying and I was stressed or anxious. It really did help me. the kids just thought it was funny - they had no idea how much I wanted to scream or throw something across the room!!!!

You got this buddy - I know you can do it @Eden1919

Making a plan with @CherryBomb for even the next hour sounds like a great idea...

and I'll be here to help you out if you need

Ok let's make a plan here. I'm also going to email you too. Can you get back to me please?

What TV shows are you watching at the moment? Or is there anything on Youtube that you like watching?

@Eden1919 I'm addicted to House Rules at the moment - it is the only show that I seem to be able to watch that doesn't have the potential for triggers (other than sport) - plus the renovations they are doing are mostly just plain cheap and nasty!

@Eden1919

You don't have to watch anything if you don't want to. I'm just putting out options for you. How about I list some things down?

- listening to music

- Making a meal

- having a bath

- reading

Re: Safety

So that tells me that your paranoia is pretty high @Eden1919 and you are very vigilant at the moment. So we need some calming activities that can allow you to still be fully aware of your surroundings - how about drawing what you can see around you - maybe a map of the room and placing all the things on there that you would need to help you feel safer tonight.
