Re: Safety

Here is a list of things from your safety plan. Do you think you could start by trying one of these as a starting point?

Play with a pet
Watch a favourite film, YouTube clip or TV show
Listen to music
Be creative (e.g. drawing, painting)
Write something
Take a shower or bath
read a book

It's okay to cry @Eden1919
I'm glad you had a go at playing with your rabbit. It's really good that you're open to trying these distractions.

@NikNik I can't cry though I have tried to let it all out but it isnt workig at all. I feel hopeless.

Re: Safety

@Eden1919 that's okay. Is there another way that you can get your feelings out.

Perhaps:

Exercise vigorously—run, dance, jump rope, or hit a punching bag

Punch a cushion or mattress or scream into your pillow

Squeeze a stress ball or squish Play-Doh or clay

Rip something up (sheets of paper, a magazine)

Make some noise (play an instrument, bang on pots and pans)

I have done some exercise already and i dont have a stress ball but i could try some kinetic sand maybe i just feel so defeated and the thoughts are so intense.

That's a great idea @Eden1919
You're not defeated. Just by being open and trying these different strategies shows that you are doing a really good job at pushing through.
