My appointment did not go well no hospital which is good but he didnt listen to a word i was saying and the whole thing just made me feel worse.

I am also having a lot of trouble i didnt take one of my meds today i tried to but i literally couldnt swallow it and i am too scared to try and take the ones tonight my OCD has this thing with choking on things and I CHOKED on the tablet this morning so now i am petrifed and way to scared to take my night dose but i am scared of withdrawls as well. this is a mess.

Hi @Eden1919

that's disappointing to hear that you felt like your psych didn't pay much attention. What was it that you wanted him to hear that he wasn't listening to?

Stopping your med abuptly can have negative impacts, like withdrawal. I understand your anxious about choking. But remember, you have managed to swallow your pills plenty of other of times without choking.

If don't end up taking your meds, can you visit your doctor as soon as you can so that they can make sure that you're ok?

Re: Safety

Hi @Eden1919 I haven't read back on all your posts yet but the one about your meds did catch my eye (probably because I needto take mine now too). This may sound like a really weird suggestion but it has worked for me when I can't bear to swollow anything - I have found taking my meds with milk helps. It must be something about the thicker consistency of the milk that actually masks the feeling of the tablets to a certain extent and I don't really feel like I am swollowing them. Just a suggestion - take it or leave it - and you will probably leave it lol
