Re: Safety

I do know how that feels @Eden1919 I have been there and tried to end it (but failed). Every day I think about how much easier it would have been if I had succeeded but I am now doing little things each day that give me some pleasure and shine a little light into my life. It is not easy - I am not going to sugar-coat it for you but you can get through it. You have Dog and Bunny, you have your family (even though that isn't the best relationship atm) and you have me and other forum members by your side. I will not stop listening and Ido hear your pain but I will remain by your side. Even when I am not around here I am thinking of you and hoping that life can become a little easier for you. Hang on buddy, continue to live minute by minute and I will continue to walk right beside you.

Re: Safety

and that is a really horrible feeling to have @Eden1919 It is so hard at times to describe exactly how we are feeling - what others may see simply as sad or scared is so much more for us - but not often something we can actually put into words - I totally get that buddy.

Have you had your shower tonight yet? Sometimes that makes you feel a little more able to cope (even if it is a small amount).

Re: Safety

Hi @Eden1919 I am sorry to hear you are struggling tonight.I've just read back through previous posts. I sense that you don't feel safe and that is causing you discomfort.Do you think you could create a space for yourself that you actually do feel safe. I do hear you and understand what you are feeling. But in the meantime- is there anything that helps you feel a little bit better. Some things that have helped me- shower, warm drink, snack, watch some TV, curl up in bed. I will be here for a little bit longer. In the past what has helped is to normalize my feelings and in that way I have been able to validate my feelings and self accept myself- I have found that to be the most helpful in dealing with my emotions. Here is a website that might be helpful.....

Re: Safety

Thank you. I had a shower and I'm trying to stay clam but it isn't working very well at all.

Hello @Eden1919

Sorry to hear that this morning isn't going very well, would you like to tell us a little bit more about what has happened to not make it go so well? It definitely does matter if it is impacting you this much, sounds really tough
