The Highlight of Your Day thread

My highlight of the day is that my psychologist and I FINALLY seem to be developing a bit of a connection. After telling me last week that she knew she was not engaging with me in a genuine way because she felt intimidated by me, we finally seem to be making progress. Last week she had said she would be more herself during sessions and all last week I was swinging between hoping this would mark a shift in the relationship, and feeling hopeless about whether it actually would. But it HAS. We actually talked together like two human beings instead of her wayyyyyyyyy over-using the micro-counselling skills and thus sounding distant and robotic. This has given me a tiny glimmer of hope that my oh-so-near-death attachment system might yet be able to be healed. Hey @Former-Member and @Former-Member my muddle is looking a tinsy tiny bit less muddled than it did this time last week.

Highlight of the day here was an hour long beachwalk, barefoot, feet in the shallows. An unseasonably warm day it was today. Marvellous contrast to three days inside with a bad cold.

Johari the lion roaring and rumbling .... dont know if its right to say he was singing ... but definitely a bass.
