I should have added that I'm going to dash off to specsavers and see if they can put the lenses from my broken frames in the other unbroken frames. At least then I'll make fewer typos because I'll be able to see properly! 😆

I must have been born with a silver spoon in my mouth (I wish). Went off to the specs shop and requested a miracle. ......

I got a miracle - my second highlight of the day!
No the fittings weren't appropriate to change the lenses over. My heart fell big time. The chappie trotted off to his little workshop and returned 10 mins later with my glasses fixed. It just so happened that someone had been there recently with an identical set of frames that had had the centre nose piece wrecked beyond repair and he had kept the usable pieces.

I asked the obvious question about cost and his reply was 'no charge'.. Woohoo! My eyrs can see better without my specs crashing to the floor multiple times! 😃😆😀😅

The highlight of my day today was a healthy, delicious vegetable soup that tasted even better as I didn't have to cook it! So good during a wintery blast 😊

The highlight of my day is probably a bit profound in a weird way.....bear in mind ive had a glass of wine which is making me kind of dopey.....ok more than normal.
My psych appointment went well and has given me new hope that things can be better than this. Nothing has changed but perhaps my belief that I can address more than I've been able to before in a more meaningful way.
