The Highlight of Your Day thread

The highlight of my day today was when I had a bit of a "moment" looking down at my second blanket that I am working on now, and realising I am at the exact same point as I was when I shared a photo of my first blanket here (on this thread, on a Saturday night, just over six months ago)

It was pretty great to think about then and now 😊

Would love to hear some other highlights if people would like to share ☺

I love this thread. It makes me see that even when people are struggling there is still some joy in their life.

My kids and I enjoyed many a game of Monopoly. We haven’t played for ages. Maybe it’s time to drag it out. Not sure how well that will go down @Former-Member.

@CheerBear - you have amazing talent. Who will be the recipient of this rug? I have two knitted rugs that my mother made. Have just washed them recently and put them away until next winter.

@Faith-and-Hope - cheese cake is one of my favourite treats. Did you have it at your regular coffee shop? I did buy berries and have been enjoying them.

Highlight today was walking through a street festival tonight with my daughter and dog and listening to some live music.

Also this morning I dropped by the park where my mother’s ashes were spread under a rose bush to see that the plant was flourishing. I kissed my finger and touched a blossom. Here’s a pic that I took @CheerBear
