The Highlight of Your Day thread

I thought it might be nice to have a place to share the highlight of your day (even if it's found in a fleeting moment) 🙂

For me today, the highlight of my day was finishing the most annoying round of crochet in a blanket I have been working on for months. This round has taken me so long and I've found it so frustrating that I didn't think I would ever finish the project. Stitch by (incredibly frustrating) stitch it came together. Super excited to get to change colours and start the next round now!

Looking forward to hearing anyone else's highlights 🙂

Hi @CheerBear and other highlighters, I'm in a general slump at the moment. Most of all my physical energy is at a big low, I'm sleeping way too many hours in the day and, when awake, I am very weak and foggy. But this afternoon C drove me around to our close friend's place and we then stayed for dinner. Made my bed before I went, then helped her with a few small things at her place. It was good to have to get dressed and ready to go, and to spend time once more with people I love. I'm still very low in energy but feeling a bit better now.

The highlight of this day of struggling to notice anything much was seeing the crescent moon that was beaming down on me as I walked out my friend's door to come home tonight. It looked something like this...

Glad you were able to end your day with a highlight @Mazarita. My highlight was cooking and eating dinner with my two kids - my reason for being.

The highlight of my day today was a game I have been playing with the most annoying set of traffic lights in probably the history of the planet. There are four of them in the most ridiculously tiny distance and I drive through them way too many times a week. No-one ever seems to be crossing the road yet at least one of them always seems to be red, possibly to let invisible people cross or something because that is the only reason they could have been put there.

I try to catch the green on them everytime. I could take a different route but there's something about them that I find infuriating but intriguing.

I got them all today and felt like such a winner 😄

A couple of blokes I walked past this evening said I would pass as a bouncer. They may have been using some form of illegal substance at the time, but as someone who's pretty scrawny/fat I'll still take it.

The highlight of my day was stopping for a moment to look at the garden from the street. The fruit trees are full of pale pink and white flowers and I have splashes of bright colour in pots and baskets happening more each day. It's so pretty.

While I can't stand living here at the moment, I do really like the garden and will enjoy it while it's around. And the pots of colour can come with us wherever we go 🙂

This house has definitely helped me appreciate how great flowers are 🌸🌹🌼

The highlight of my day was coming to Forum Land and discovering that there is a new moderator around called @flipper. The lowlight of my day was discovering that flipper is now offline. I can't begin to tell you how superly duperly cool I think it is that @NikNik or someone managed to find a dolphin to be a moderator.
