The Highlight of Your Day thread

I thought it might be nice to have a place to share the highlight of your day (even if it's found in a fleeting moment) 🙂

For me today, the highlight of my day was finishing the most annoying round of crochet in a blanket I have been working on for months. This round has taken me so long and I've found it so frustrating that I didn't think I would ever finish the project. Stitch by (incredibly frustrating) stitch it came together. Super excited to get to change colours and start the next round now!

Looking forward to hearing anyone else's highlights 🙂

That's funny @soul - it took mine about an hour of debate to settle on his name because they couldn't choose between Burrito Taco 🙂 He's pretty cute!

Beautiful, @CheerBear. Daffodils and jonquils have a special place in my heart because I used to buy them for my mum with my school lunch money sometimes as a child. They have such cheerful faces.

Highlight today was C being silly in the kitchen when I was in a down and out state this morning. He made me laugh.

The highlight of my day was that we did turtle pose in my yoga class tonight. I was a turtle being a turtle.

@Pheonix_Rising oh boy you got my head in a right spin with images of a turtle 🐢 doing a yoga pose. That's pretty much the highlight of the day for me. Except for coming home from hospital and big smooches & cuddles from my fur baby.

Gorgeous flowers @CheerBear. They remind me of my Mum who was Dutch. She once told me that she would buy a bunch of flowers every payday before she was married because it made her so happy.

The highlight of my day today was feeding Nacho the axolotl from my hand! He/she/it swims into my palm and holds on to my pinkie with a foot to gulp at the little stick of food. Very cool! 🐉

@CheerBear That is super cute. I had an axolotl when I was a kid. I think they are really cool.
