The Highlight of Your Day thread

I thought it might be nice to have a place to share the highlight of your day (even if it's found in a fleeting moment) 🙂

For me today, the highlight of my day was finishing the most annoying round of crochet in a blanket I have been working on for months. This round has taken me so long and I've found it so frustrating that I didn't think I would ever finish the project. Stitch by (incredibly frustrating) stitch it came together. Super excited to get to change colours and start the next round now!

Looking forward to hearing anyone else's highlights 🙂

@Phoenix_Rising You might have a funny brain but I have one to match. My highlight is a white frost...yes a white frost...I get all excited when the ground is white and frozen...I did mention my funny brain.

After a day of lots of not greats something little that was really good and my highlight today was an olive and thyme scented wax melt. It made the house smell so so good this afternoon 🙂

The highlight of my day was that I went to Big W and bought the entire stock of duck socks in my size. You will probably be relieved to know that the "entire stock" was five pairs - duck socks are clearly very popular! So now I am the proud owner of six pairs of duck socks, one pair of penguin socks and two pairs of socks with cool coloured spots all over them. I super hope they are good quality and last for years and years and years.

I have my D1 a candle that smelled like pancakes at Christmas time. It's all used up and she's wanting another one .... lol ..... surprise, surprise .....

😂😂😂 @Phoenix_Rising! Woohoo! I bought the entire range of duck socks in my size at Big W too as there was only one. Duck socks really are great and clearly very popular here too! If I ever see someone else wearing them I will almost certainly have to stop and comment on how cool they are. The penguins are pretty fab as well 🙂

A pancake smelling candle @Faith-and-Hope - that sounds like it would smell great! I have a buttercream melt that makes my mouth water 😄

My favourite candle scent is lemon grass @CheerBear. Has to be an authentic aroma though. Some of them are sickly sweet.
