For me today, the highlight of my day was finishing the most annoying round of crochet in a blanket I have been working on for months. This round has taken me so long and I've found it so frustrating that I didn't think I would ever finish the project. Stitch by (incredibly frustrating) stitch it came together. Super excited to get to change colours and start the next round now!
Looking forward to hearing anyone else's highlights 🙂

The highlight of my day happened while I was out driving today. I saw someone walking along with a very strange looking dog. It sort-of looked like a black cocker spaniel but it was strangely square. I was driving along thinking about how awful it was that someone had let their dog get so obese...and then when I got closer I realised the person was actually pulling along a suitcase on wheels.
I know, I know, right now everyone is filled with jealousy wishing they had a brain that functioned like mine does!!!!! It made me giggle A LOT. Hopefully it makes someone here smile too.

It's been a day of almost highs, but some lows too. But still a better day than most. I have an amazing, supportive and caring GP, who reminded me this morning of the importance of self care and routines, two things right now I'm not very good at. And I went to the city, a task that usually overwhelms me, but was necessary to return quite overdue library books. It was busy and noisy as I walked around, but I remained calm and focused, enough to not spin me into a panic.
Very glad now to be back in the comfort of my home.

@Sans911 - great to hear you've had a better day today 🙂 So good that you were able to stay calm and not panic in the city too.
My highlight today was playing with Crayola silly scent pencils and markers. Colouring in has never smelled so good! 🙂

My highlight of a he day was mother dearest ringing me for the first time in months because she heard I was sick and wanted me to know she's thinking of me. Then she talked about her. Didn't ask how I actually was buy hey, baby steps, she rang & was polite. Since she learned to tx 2years ago she doesn't like talking on the phone. Won't go digging around for the manipulative motives, just rnjoyi g the moment haha 🙂

The highlight of my day was that today I was flicking through some junk mail and there was an advertisement for a kids party place. The heading on the ad says "3 FREE children with your next party booking." I got a super funny image in my brain of totally frazzled parents being sent home after their kid's party with three additional complimentary children.
