The Highlight of Your Day thread

I thought it might be nice to have a place to share the highlight of your day (even if it's found in a fleeting moment) 🙂

For me today, the highlight of my day was finishing the most annoying round of crochet in a blanket I have been working on for months. This round has taken me so long and I've found it so frustrating that I didn't think I would ever finish the project. Stitch by (incredibly frustrating) stitch it came together. Super excited to get to change colours and start the next round now!

Looking forward to hearing anyone else's highlights 🙂

@Queenie That is an awesome achievement swimming 50 laps! I super want to get back into swimming too. It is the only sport I am any good at...which makes sense, given I'm a sea turtle.

Oh and I SUPER love that song from Finding Nemo!

The highlight of my day was experiencing the super gigantic amount of support that there is here in Forum Land following the lowlight of my day. I REALLY don't know what I would do without Forum Land.

Hang on to your surfboard @oceangirl there are 2 parties to organise before yours - there are only so many hours in the day (granted I am up for most of them but give me time lol) Any music preferences for yours - other than Cold Play of course!

The highlight of my day today was spending a couple of hours at my kid's school in their classrooms. I'm very proud of who they are and how they're going. It was busy, hectic, loud, chaos but heaps of fun.

Their teachers are fabulous and are doing such an important job so well. I really appreciate teachers, and really don't think they get paid enough. I find myself thinking this every time I spend time in classrooms and every moment of the school holidays 😉
