The Highlight of Your Day thread

I thought it might be nice to have a place to share the highlight of your day (even if it's found in a fleeting moment) 🙂

For me today, the highlight of my day was finishing the most annoying round of crochet in a blanket I have been working on for months. This round has taken me so long and I've found it so frustrating that I didn't think I would ever finish the project. Stitch by (incredibly frustrating) stitch it came together. Super excited to get to change colours and start the next round now!

Looking forward to hearing anyone else's highlights 🙂

Oh wow @Shaz51 Both feet must have been awful. Yesterday I had my second shock treatment on it and it feels good today. I have two more to do. I’m hoping it can be healed.

So I think that is a highlight for today already. My foot feels ok 👍🏻

is it why I had it longer , and I finally walked them out

it could very very well be the highlight of my day 😊.

ive had three highlights now today.

reading @Exoplanet travelling log was really the start I needed to my day today.

Strolling through the park throwing a stick for my dog on a lovely sunny day was another one. It made me think that I need to push myself to do it more often.

It was such a sunny nice day here too. Glad you and dog went out and enjoyed it.

Today I tried something new at my worky thing and it was kind of a train wreck. The idea of failing is something that gives me huge anxiety which often gets in the way of me trying new things. The highlight of my day was that my world did not end because I stuffed up today and I was even able to have a laugh about it later 🙂

That and Avicii's album being released (big highlight there) 🙏⭐❤🎧

The sun shining through autumn leaves. It's such a beautiful time of year. As a kid every season change is magical, but we get so used to them as adults that it's sometimes just something to comment on
That's great @CheerBear, fear of failing can hold us back so much in life, but it's almost never as bad as we build it up to be

@Ali11 I took this one the day after you mentioned enjoying seeing sun through the leaves. This tree didn't have much colour left in it, but what it had was beautiful and I wanted to share 🙂

Today's highlight of the day for me was playing some very funny rounds of Mario Party with the kids 😁

That's a vibrant red @CheerBear, so pretty What do you play Mario Party on? Is that a Wii? The highlight today was watching old episodes of Community and remembering just how funny that show is

The highlight of my day was bathing my beautiful little 21 month old granddaughter tonight . Dressing her in her pjs reading a book while she drank her milk. And then putting her to bed and she giving me smoochy kisses and cuddles 💕💕
