The Highlight of Your Day thread

I thought it might be nice to have a place to share the highlight of your day (even if it's found in a fleeting moment) 🙂

For me today, the highlight of my day was finishing the most annoying round of crochet in a blanket I have been working on for months. This round has taken me so long and I've found it so frustrating that I didn't think I would ever finish the project. Stitch by (incredibly frustrating) stitch it came together. Super excited to get to change colours and start the next round now!

Looking forward to hearing anyone else's highlights 🙂

The highlight of my day, well there has been a few...

Forum highlights include the return of a couple of forum friends.

The return of words throughout the day on a day I thought would be impossible.

Taking my dog to a new park and he loved it, he was so smiley.

Having physio on my planter fasciitis that has been giving me grief for about 10 months and realising it might be getting better with this treatment.

Finding the will power to not buy chocolate at the supermarket.

I hope everyone has a highlight in their day. 💜🤗

That’s awesome @Faith-and-Hope . It can be tricky to get your head around. I think I would be very jumbled trying to use it now. I bet you are having fun with some of the cool effects 💜😘

Lol ..... just trying to survive assignments at the moment @Teej, but each time we start something new I am surprised at how much I have retained, often with a little nudge. It really is knowledge that builds on itself. If we continue working with it throughout our studies, which I suspect we will, I think it will become more fun when I am more familiar with it. At the moment we are learning a lot for the time span.

Love catching people's highlights of their day 😊

I have had a rubbish week and today didn't start well. I almost caved in to it all this morning and considered calling in sick for a new worky kind of thing I'm doing. It took a lot of convincing myself to go but I got there in the end. The highlight of my day was that I had a great afternoon there. I finished up the day feeling more confident that I can do this gig and do it well. As tired as I am, I'm also excited and feeling a bit of hope again 🙂
