The array of problems

The array of problems

Well hi there everybody. I was just looking for people who may be able to help with some tricky stuff im faced with. -here's the life I got... -there's the life I want... and there is a whole lot of technical, physical, mental or emotional issues between the two.

I have struggled with mental problems for a very long time. And I think the gravity of the story and reality of my situation. Induces shock and trauma. And has to sink in over again each day. -But there is apart of me. That weighs things up and desires a better life and to help myself.

Now, if I could...I'd magically employ myself in a good career. And change everything around. But I can't! -so im more or less stuck with very limited options. Reoccurring problems. In the same circumstances. -which gets me down and becomes tiring...

And im tired of feeling like I do.

Im aware of what they say helps and what doesn't. -its just really hard to put into place and follow through with everything.

Oh no cyclone for me down here. And yea i get what you're saying. Does (less is more make sense to you?) Life has become so complicated. It's harder then it should be.

I like things clean tidy and simple but og course life is nothing like that sometimes a cabin in the woods seems like a better option then society.

I am a major advocate of less as more input rarely leads to more/better output.

The trick is to realize that while more or less physical stuff is obvious, more or less thought stuff is not so much the case. People minimize their kitchen cupboard but continue to watch the "new" (in quotes deliberately) which is nothing but clutter.

Maybe you could mentally build your 'cabin in the woods' right where you are?

🙂

Yea. It's more or less like a cabin in the woods. The closet thing too it. I'll get anyway.

Have you got any common tendencies you could tell me about which I could relate too?

I think a lot of what you have said I can relate to in some way.

Probably the single biggest thing is to let thinking take over and stop me from doing things I want to.

Yea im hearing ya there. -I do the same and my body gets neglected. But I'll also say... that I've weighed up all the options a dozen or so times. Actually. Hundreds and thousands of times over the years!

And although it all starts in the mind. I need the physical to back myself up with. And the mental reassurance and confirmation. It's the right thing. The best thing. And the thing that's going to get me the results I'm after.

So I hope that makes sense?

Plus, in my mind. (A very fragile place) I can become lost in thought. And procrastination. And analysis. And contemplation. And it's like I start to back fire. And the scenarios and themes that are rolling like a movie inmy mind. -create reactions. (Thoughts, phrases, quotes ect...)

So I'm not even sure what I really want to do with my life. -I have dreams, aspirations, visions and such things. And there's also fears, doubts and nightmares. -so I've got quite a bit of stuff going on for myself at any given moment. Between. Self care. Home duties. Socializing. Writing. My garden. The cat and dog (they need a certain level of care). My car. A few close friends. And navigating the day to day dilemmas and dramas which are in the way of my dreams. And managing the doubts, fears, insecurities and nightmares. -there's quite a bit of work to do.

But as for the practical stuff. Like socializing, outings, walks, fishing, gardening, camping, family functions. Getting ahead. Upgrades. Sports (which I dont really do) -a lot of this stuff only ever reaches contemplation mode. And I suffer for it... -drinks with friends is a highlight. 🙂 sorry for rambling 🙂

I'm generally that caught up in something. Anything extra is just to hard to make happen.

It's hard to remain focused on the realistic possibilities when I'm to busy switching from positive to negative mental stuff.

Re: The array of problems

What worries me the most is that I will give up and settle into a life that is so far less than I could be.

I'm not taking about becoming Rod Stewart, simply to have a happy and full life where I feel like I am of value to people around me and myself.

🙂

@Fiz it's hard. Because I think within all of our minds. Everyone is basically the enemy at some stage or another. And there is the element of someone needing or wanting something from you in the first place. For them to be in your life to begin with. And when it comes toothe professionals- there is this false impression that they are there too help and able to help. With what they have said is wrong. Which is coming from the perspective of a broken system. And which also has a very dark recent and not so recent history. . .

-and who are also dead against illicit drugs, alcohol, cigarettes and other things. Too the point of it being a blame focal for their patients and clients problems. When in actual fact. They as a system are as much to blame.

You can't pay someone to care or fix a problem that don't exist. But they do try in vein. -and I realize they attempt to help. Butin all honestly their own progressive sequences of actions are much more questionable and 'wrong' then the average person.

I have thought and felt this way for years. And ama very determined and motivated ambassador and advocate against the flaws of the system andhow it works.

It's like. They might as well admit straight up. The basic facts and statistics. And allow themselves as individuals and a system to be held accountable. -when in actual fact... they areno better worse. And possible just and only serving their alter ego. And thriving off of the situation which is fueled bye the exact same problems (just in reverse) which ultimately only serves themselves and is for their own best interests. -appalling really!
