The array of problems

The array of problems

Well hi there everybody. I was just looking for people who may be able to help with some tricky stuff im faced with. -here's the life I got... -there's the life I want... and there is a whole lot of technical, physical, mental or emotional issues between the two.

I have struggled with mental problems for a very long time. And I think the gravity of the story and reality of my situation. Induces shock and trauma. And has to sink in over again each day. -But there is apart of me. That weighs things up and desires a better life and to help myself.

Now, if I could...I'd magically employ myself in a good career. And change everything around. But I can't! -so im more or less stuck with very limited options. Reoccurring problems. In the same circumstances. -which gets me down and becomes tiring...

And im tired of feeling like I do.

Im aware of what they say helps and what doesn't. -its just really hard to put into place and follow through with everything.

Re: The array of problems

Yes, society can have a hand in deciding who is and isn't sane and sometimes only time can allow us to sort that out. But there is a measure you can use...

Galileo and Copernicus both got branded insane (or close enough) by society (or the Church that was essentially the same at that time) because they said the Earth revolved around the Sun and not the other way. The thing that ultimately let them off the nuthook was that they were actually telling the provable truth.

Sadly these days we tend to prefer feeling to truth. However, a feeling does not necessarily represent the truth. Sure the feeling a person has is truth in itself. I feel upset. That feeling is true as I feel that way.

BUT

Is the reason I feel upset true? Challenge each assumption and look for provable truths - provable being that other logical people can verify.

🙂

Re: The array of problems

Yeah I know. I get lost in that situation all the time and it's very bothering
I am always thinking stuff which involves a mixture of others
And it's often not helpful stuff and is actually persecution based

Re: The array of problems

And how I deal with it is not helpful and is very hard because it involves other people and we are dependent on each other as humans so our success kind of depends on whom we are around and when it's not working it's just not working and can a turn Into a detrimental situation does that make sense?

Re: The array of problems

The next and most important thing any human will need is socialising
Without it. Things get better bad.
So because of it's importance and significance it also comes with associated fears and negative stuff

@Unjustly "Fear is the mind killer".

Funny you should get into the fear thing as that is exactly what I just identified as a concern for me. I got to the stage where I was basically afraid of everyone. If I say or do that they will be unhappy with me. That came in part from work and relationship where I lived on tenterhooks but really underneath all that I worry that I am not good enough. Not sure why but it is a start to know it.

If I can't be ME then I will always fail. While I might blame others for that failing it is really mine if I can't be the true me. Besides if I am the unique me then I probably increase the chances of finding people who like me for being me (instead of some weird almost person).

Re: The array of problems

Do you have a diagnosis and take medication? Or hasn't it got that far yet?

With me. It's always been based around in the schizophrenia categories of diagnose. And diagnosing is a tricky thing because it totally depends on the patients circumstances. And social and environmental situation. (Th psychiatrist asked me if I wanted it to be about depression or schizophrenia haha) 12 years later....) -once medication isin somebodies system there's only so much they can do without proper help.

And also. I had factors which were all pointing in a bad direction from a very young age. Traumas upon traumas. Aggressive behavior. Drugs. Lots of questionable things. Religious influences. Being put in the reject bin bye family (so to speak) a few deaths of people whom were close. Hard knock to the head.. other injuries.. and a list of stuff that haunted me for years. (Played games with my mind. Fueled the symptoms) ect ect. A big list of negative stuff going on.

Then bam. Mental institution. Diagnosis. Medication. No going back now hahaha 🙂
