Haven't been here a while, welcome to anyone to comment and say hi!

How are you?

Im struggling a bit with the NDIS at the moment. My funding was cut a great deal. I had decided to go on a carer respite while i still had funding, tongiht, but it went very badly 😞 i am now back at home. I hope everyone is doing okay x

Re: Locked out/in

hey @Dimity hope you're okay, any updates with the therapist?

i had something very similar happen to me - my psychiatrist yelled at me - he also sent me quite abusive text messages, calling me names, and suggesting I don't want to get wel and am obsessed with taking medications (?) rather than working on "wellness or improvement."

(Both. I wanted both.)

I feel like there's a huge trade off atm, i was out of my head running around with ED presentations and SH and nothing was stable, but now that i'm "stable" i'm very depressed. I stay in my bed most evenings, and don't really engage society except for a few walks to my local cafe, who are the closest thing I have to family. I have cut off a lot of friends, besides from my 2 childhood friends.

@TAB thanks Tab i did enjoy it, i feel like art therapy helps me a lot, more than even talking about problems.

That psychiatrist was out of line @EternalFlower .

I'm dealing (not) with depression and social isolation too. I'll have an early night.

Good night @EternalFlower @TAB

I really hope you have a lovely cup of tea - isn’t it funny that thud is his you choose to do with your own life I just realised I feel a little bit scared when I’m by myself

Re: Locked out/in

@Dimity hope u are feeling ok. How was ur night?

I had a beauty appointment today and feel a little more human

Next is a haircut!

Im sorry ur feeling a bit low. I wander how the psych affected u.

My prior psych who yelled at me was also silly enough to send me abusive text messages. So i have lots of evidence sadly. He got caught up in his ego and would send me rants about how i dont want to get better and am 'using' him so i can get admitted to hospital.

What a jerk.

Re: Locked out/in

It's good you're no longer with that psychiatrist @EternalFlower .

I hope you're going OK. Depression can hang around for a while.

I'll catch up with my psychiatrist again next week - I'm quite apprehensive. I've been with him for a very long time but the ground has shifted.

Hope you're keeping warm, the weather is unpredictable at the moment.

Re: Locked out/in

@Dimity yesterday was a bit better than today, not feeling amazing. I had a meeting with a public mental health service that was postponed, i was looking forward to it. Something came up like an emergency with the staff. Thats okay, I guess, but my day was a bit thrown. They let me know in the morning and the appointment was at 3pm. I ddi get to speak to my case manager. It was really productive.

I was wandering how you're doing out there....it was very gloomy here today, every day i just throw on a hoodie, i need to step it up a bit and get back into society
