Locked out/in

Locked out/in

Hi everyone @Appleblossom @Zoe7 @Shaz51 @TAB @Bow @Dimity 🙂

Haven't been here a while, welcome to anyone to comment and say hi!

How are you?

Im struggling a bit with the NDIS at the moment. My funding was cut a great deal. I had decided to go on a carer respite while i still had funding, tongiht, but it went very badly 😞 i am now back at home. I hope everyone is doing okay x

Re: Locked out/in

@Dimity do u find the weekends harder? i just feel so alone sometimes in my community here. Ppl must pity me bringing me gifts etc but not really spending time.

Idk

I get that things are a challenge now, hope ur doing ok and finding a way. I'm upset therapy was cancelled, but also quite numb to it. I'm not sure if they care about me raelly, stringing me along so long.

I notice forums are very quiet and it also unnerves me. I wander if recovery for me is better off forums, but am unsure when I will make that step. I see some lovely ppl here, too.

My GP does wnt to see me for the nausea, I hope he can do sometihng. I don't like the cold at the mmoment 😞 gloomy

Re: Locked out/in

That's lovely if people care enough to bring gifts @EternalFlower . And maybe they can't stay long but made the effort anyway.

Scheduling appts can be tricky esp in the public sector so I've been impressed by what seemed a quick turnaround for you. And they seem to have been in touch every few days. So it sounds as though they really are trying.

Sorry, I can't say much on "recovery". I understand I have a lifelong illness and I also know forums discussions have to be "recovery oriented". Up til now I've found the forums supportive. And I've enjoyed your company - we might have first met on my tidying thread. It's still going, so is the hoarding thread. The bipolar thread hasn't been active for months. I guess my compartmentalising things doesn't help but I get overwhelmed in some of the very busy and prolific threads.

Thanks for picking up that I'm finding things challenging. I'm trying to keep going, even if it's treading water some days.

I had a dream about kittens last night but I really can't get any more, I'd have no backstop for their care. Getting Tiger to the vet for arthritis injections wasn't always easy without a car.
