Dear @Dimity

.just as a person who has had trauma therapy but something else

iv heard how excellent EMDR is.
about 18 months ago I had Judith Richard’s trauma therapy but I got quite angry and entitled half way through it so it’s been happening but taken a long long time.

si I get what your doing - a kind of oh right- I get that when your going it for the second time.

@EternalFlower

I actually have ‘ no’ problems but traits of borderline when under extreme stress which is pretty full on atm.

and suffer from GAD ( no idea what that is …. Will have to look it up )

and you know @EternalFlower

iv had / having 45 years psychotherapy. And suffer tbi. Life long problems .i got NDIS. Wow. . …..

why have I had so much therapy because I have no titles. I am a survivor from having a mother who did not like me and when I was 16 I had a very good gp who realised what was happening with me and kept on making me see psychiatrists

@EternalFlower are they a group of people who visit you at home ? Ide own what CATT is either pride. Your a survivor and your surviving 🍀🙂

Re: Locked out/in

@PeppyPatti i maybe used the wrong acronym becase they call CATT different things in diff states i think, in victoria, you're right, they can visit you in your home. They work in the hospital, and when someone's in crises but not in hospital, they can come visit you to keep you safe. In my case I didn't allow them to visit me, I came into the clinic for the "visits" but they were amazing. They gave me tips on how to manage my NDIS, what treatments I could use, what apps and techniques could help me and also advice on study options for me.

They were amazing. Then they handed me over to the hospital to have case management, and matched me up to an OT to talk about my problems. She has been promoted to a new job so i dont have her anymore bt I have someone just as good as a case manager.

Wow @EternalFlower

I thought it was like what my oldest son had when he was in his 20s in Brisbane. and failing at University. He’s now successful and living his life well however —— ( secretly …. Me thinks a dose of medication would help him. )

this is Peanut …. Do you havva. Pet ??

Hope you're having a better day @EternalFlower . I see the feedback commentary was shut down. Thankyou for your inputs to it while it lasted.

Peanut looks a cute little fellow @PeppyPatti .

Re: Locked out/in

Hi kind souls and good people @Dimity @PeppyPatti

Thank you for checking in. I noticed that too. Interesting way it was written.

@Dimity was very rough last night, but told myself to give it 24 hours, see if change could happen 🙂
The trauma program contacted me and offered me a new meeting. I tried to get it asap and they'll let me know. Relieved.

Hope you're doing okay after time with your family

Re: Locked out/in

I'm glad the trauma program reached out and listened to you @EternalFlower. Fingers crossed you can meet soon.

I'm a bit calmer today. I feel very stressed and unwell at times over my family situation, and feel victimised.

I went to my fortnightly exercise group today but barely made it as I slept through my alarms.

It's wonderful that when things are rough you can hang onto hope things will change. For a while I tried a gratitude journal technique called rose rose thorn bud. Two things you're grateful for, one thing that upset you, and something you're looking forward to.
