Tooky History: Clipart but potentially triggering

Tooky History: Clipart but potentially triggering

This is a little project I did earlier this week, inspired by @Faith-and-Hope on one of the art threads, also @Appleblossom and Sherry, and some others on the Carers side.

The story "reads" left to right line by line as you would a book.

Some will "get it" some probably won't but nonetheless, it depicts my "black hole" story and everything in it is chosen or placed deliberately. It's supposed to be a side by side trilogy but in this format it's the three sequential pages so the pics in the collage can be seen.

It's a little scary posting it because it means something to me but well here it is anyhow.

@Former-Member, found your picture, love the alice-in-wonderland sized cup. Looks like it's a vintage image too. I like!

@Former-Member, thanks, mate.

I had 4 boys in 5 years @Former-Member and sport was kind of a necessity....either that or they demolished the house. They all played 3 summer sports and 3 winter sports for a bit. All 4 have kept going but one has had an injury he hasn't been able to overcome but he is studying sports science so is still connected. They all finally gave up tennis and cricket two seasons ago but all still play footy. I'm not sure what age you give up watching your adult sons play but I'll work it out. Youngest is still only 16 though.

Have a good day Tooky. I have one more post to write then I'm heading off for a bit. 🏉🥇💜🤗

Great to see you stuck around @Former-Member!!!!!!!! I know how overwhelming thinking about MI can be. I just spent the morning reading "I Hate You - Don't Leave Me. " Found it as a downloadable ebook. Wonder if I am able to link it here? Still trying to make sense of it.

In respect to those with BPD, it can't be a great gig to have.

Hey @Former-Member, I loved being a football ⚽(round ball that is - the real one) and netball Mum. Both kids played school and club so there was a lot of running around to do with double games on each weekend and training during the week. Miss those days.

@soul yeah I have heard of that think I've read exerpts... its been a while though... can't remember who wrote it or anything but definitely know I've heard of that somewhere along my researching. Though I tended to stick more to academic sources.. there's also another big one that isn't an academic source... love fraud I think it is called. Don't agree with it all but it certainly has good insights to draw from.

If you want some clarification on objective thoughts on manipulation behaviour vs normal ranges .. and modus operandi... check out Dr G K Simon. He has some good articles on a couple of sites. I'm not sure if his www.manipulative-people.com is still up and running but here is the one I can find now. It might give you some reading material to better assess what your situation is and how manipulative operators work. You might see similarities or it might confirm to you that no.. your situation was different.

He wrote a good book call In Sheep's clothing.. (he's written others as well) He is a little on the religious side for my liking at times but most of the time he keeps that out of his writing and it's very educational and was very validating for me. Anyhow the doorway into his works is:
