@EternalFlower @Cuddlebear @Blackcloud @MissGremlin
i forgot to mention in previous post. My psychologist said today that during next couple days she will type up letter to my psychiatrist. As part of preparing the letter, I’ve been sent screening questionnaires for PTSD, Depression, stress, ADHD and Autism.
Questionnaires that my previous psychologist never asked me to complete. Another reason I feel I’m now seeing a psychologist who is the right fit for me

I’m hoping start of next month sees things get back to my normal @MissGremlin
Currently dealing with lots of different emotions linked to memories. Wouldn’t know where to start to describe how I’m feeling or what’s in my head, even if I tried.
thinking of you and sending lots of hugs. 🤗🤗

Re: My silent battles
@Flutterbug9 I'm hoping things start to get back to normal for you again soon sweet.
It's understandable to be dealing with so many emotions with everything that's going on. Sometimes putting things into words doesn't feel possible. Just remember to be gentle with you wonderful self ❤️.
Thankyou sweetheart ❤️

Re: My silent battles
This psychologist is very easy to get along with. From few things she has said, I’m fairly sure is is neurodivergent also. Her style and approach is very different than I’ve ever come across before. When I say things, she asks ‘how did that feel remembering things’ or ‘how do I feel about xyz’ etc. provides thoughts of possible different ways of looking at things. NEVER has told me I’m wrong. @EternalFlower
(previous psychologist was the total opposite)
An example, Current psychologist asks IF I would like another appointment. Previous psychologist used to book a few appointments into the future, telling me when the next was booked for

I’m trying to be like a turtle @MissGremlin
Taking things slow and, where possible, at my pace
ive lost a lot of my self confidence and trust in lot of people. The lose of trust that is the most difficult to cope with involves people I’m related to by blood
”words fail me”. Describes exactly how I feel
hoping you and Casper are taking care of each other. 🤗

Re: My silent battles
@Flutterbug9 taking things at your own pace is perfectly ok. Slow and steady sweetheart.
Losing your self confidence and trust is people especially those you're related to is incredibly hard.
I can relate to the struggle when it comes to finding words to describe what we are thinking/feeling.
Casper is snuggled up with me, he's always close by my side.

Re: My silent battles
@MissGremlin I’ve just realised I have a Telehealth appointment with my psychiatrist on Monday and have no idea how this is going to happen ie via phone call or a video hookup using a program that the clinic uses.
do you mind sharing your experience with how your Telehealth appointments used to happen eg phone call etc?
This evening I have sent an email to the clinic the psychiatrist works through in hope of finding out how the psychiatrist will contact prior to Monday.
My only experience is via phone call or video hookup using link I’ve been sent

Re: My silent battles
@Flutterbug9 oh that's hard not knowing how it's going to happen.
My telehealth appointments have all just been phone calls. I've done this with my doctor, previous psychologist and the counsellor I had.
Hoping they get back to you soon so you can be prepared for it.
