@Glisten ba ha ha! I love you! I was trying to find the Kath & Kim skit about cardonnay but couldn't find it.

After my visit to the vet on Monday I will have certain animal/human medications for such a purpose.

Did I ever tell you my cousin worked for Pizza Hut when he was about 16? They had a large order for the Potters House and they put laxettes on the pizzas. I didn't laugh of course.

How are your wheels? Nothing short of perfect knowing you 🙂

BAHAHA @ENKELI Pizza Hut shenanigans 🙂 Who would think of such a thing. Enjoy your meal Potters House. Your welcome 🤣

Retiisi, you know me very well. You could eat dinner off my car wheels or hub caps.

I can’t paint, because the metal is too hot. I’ll have to be up an hour before dawn tomorrow, for the wheel paint job.

It’ll be fine.

@Glisten my Tomaatti nothing like having pride in your work.

The same cousin who served at Pizza Hut also used to say "If it's worth doing, it's worth doing well." His parents instilled a terrific work ethic in him. He played hard but worked just as hard. Sadly he passed away in a car accident. He was a pilot and I had the Southern Cross tattooed on me in memory of him. He also has a star named after him in the Southern Cross.

Being up an hour before dawn? Isn't that your usual wakeup time Tomaatti?

I am waiting for the sun to go down so I can water my plants and turn the cooling off.

My Retiisi, your wonderful cousin was a wonderful fun person. I bet you pair bounced off each other, and the humour got more and more funny.

He brought out light in you 🤗

It’s true @ENKELI 4am was my normal wake up time.

I’m one of those people who wakes up slowly. I need to assess the weather while making my coffee.

Take my meds, drink my coffee, put on my hormones, attend to my East Coast people, brush my teeth and mentally process my day’s To Do list.

= 1 hour

But housemate K & kelpies also get up early and go for a walk. Leaving the house like Taz. I try to avoid them because my nervous system is not prepared. For . . .

@Glisten oh Tomaatti my darling! That must be so discombobulating. I too would need to stay apart from that in the morning too so I feel your pain. Kelpies are nutters, until they reach mature age at around 10 I don't think know the meaning of "settle!" Beautiful puppers but not for the faint of heart. You deserve a gold medal for living with a person and dog who resemble Taz!

@ENKELI ✌🏼two. Two ratbags.

Hey I edited my previous post. Because I wanted acknowledge your cuz. But I needed more time to consider my words.

Because you wear a memorial to him, it shows that he ment a lot to you.

I reverently respect the relationship you shared.

Losing someone close doesn’t mean you lose the relationship. It’s obvious by the language we use. There is no past tense, when we refer to a relation.

The body is gone, but the relationship stays.

Grief is when love has no where to go.

Re: Thursday Coffee and Chat -- 22nd January 2026

@Glisten thank you my darling Tomaatti. He was the same age as me, I got to dance with him at his wedding and it is one of my favourite memories. He married a member of the Ledger family. Yes, THAT Ledger family.

This same cousin dropped his shorts and flashed his bum at Wanneroo Rd on Christmas Day one year before he met his future wife. He was a larrikin. We have so many funny stories about him. He and I tried smoking together when we were 6. He stole one of his mums' Alpines and we choked and spluttered through it, vowing never to smoke again. He kept to his word at least!

His mum is my favourite aunt as well.

I have had a couple of paranormal experiences, I saw my cousin after he'd died. I was in his parent's living room and I turned around and saw him smiling at me. I felt very comforted.
His mum saw a clairvoyant and was told my cousin is watching out for me.

I don't follow clairvoyants as a Christian but I don't not believe in clairvoyance.

Those doggoes look full of fun and life. I love working dogs and if I ever were to get a property I would consider another one. I'm glad your charges have property, it's not right to have them in the city with tiny backyards and no stimulation.

This is my girl, Kelly the Wondermutt. I had her for 13 years and she ruined me for another dog for life. I truly adored her.

Big hugs 🫂 @ENKELI my Retiisi. Your cousin is ALWAYS with you. I can read it in the way you tell the stories.

If he was physically sitting next to you, you would say exactly the same thing.

Miss Kelly the Wondermutt. Outright Winner- Greatest Dog in the World for 13 consecutive years. Judge’s formal decision. No correspondence shall be entered into.

@Glisten thank you my Tomaatti.

How are the rims going, did you get to paint them this morning?

We had a really nice breeze come through last night, I actually felt cool. Did it reach you up the hill?
