Look at this! I'm actually online at coffee time start! 😋
Just got home from chiro + persuaded my mother to go for lunch afterwards and grabbed ingredients to make dinner tonight (I'm going to try to cook tonight whilst my mum is working later this evening, then we can eat together).
I have a number of posts I want to respond to from over the past 5 days 😊 But I will keep this thread open & try to remember to refresh it between posts to chat.
@Shaz51 @MissGremlin I love the hitchhiker grasshopper. 😍. I like stick insects and leaf insects too.
When my extra-fluffy dog (male) was younger he came indoors once and lay on the ground and opened his mouth... and out hopped a grasshopper! 🤣 It hitchhiked (involuntarily?) into the house inside his mouth haha. Then he tried to nuzzle it to play with it. Did I mention this dog is part maremma?

Am going to make palak paneer. It's one of the few indian dishes i don't mind. I bought the paneer (cheese) in Nov/Dec last year to make palak paneer "at some stage" (knowing it had a late-Jan expiry). And saw it in my fridge last week and really now I really need to use it before it goes beyond its expiry lol. I also have the spinach for it. And didn't know if we had onion, so I bought them. But I didn't have a recipe yet at that time whilst out at the shops, so I didn't know what else I would need lol. It's been a few years since I made it myself.
..just looked up a recipe (I will try this one https://www.indianhealthyrecipes.com/palak-paneer-recipe-easy-paneer-recipes-step-by-step-pics/#wprm-recipe-container-38742 ) and see that I also need cashews and tomato/puree lol. Oops. Well, I have some cashews... which are very old... so I will have to taste-test them first to see if they are still OK or spoiled 🤣. Thankfully my mother has some tinned tomato puree lol, else I would have to dilute tomato paste haha.
I stopped buying things for my pantry & freezer because I wasn't able to cook, and so I want to "eat it down". But that requires planning and checking what I do or don't still have 🤣.
