So sorry I just heard your news. You have been on quite a journey. I am glad that your ex is a little stabilised and that you managed to visit and doing what you can. I am glad you are looking after you. Grieving is its own peculiar beast, and our feelings ebb and flow and do their thing, with respect to the whole relationship, and our whole sense of being.

Hospitals are not fun.

How are you going @heartathome? Sounds like there has been little improvements on your partner. Keeping all my fingers and toes crossed that he keeps improving 💜

I'm doing okay @Chasingsunsets I believe God has given me His peace! I'm in do what needs to be done mode. The sedatives also help. It's hard watching him in so much discomfort but he has to come down on the pain meds to try and wake him. Taking him off life support is the most worrying atm. I have no idea how long I'll be at his place. Thankyou for checking up on me. I really appreciate your support!! 💜

I am glad you are doing okay @heartathome, despite everything right now 💜. I can hear how taking him off the life support is the most worrying and the hospital is monitoring the balance of his sedation and waking him up while monitoring his pain levels. Are you doing okay staying in a different environment? Sitting with you through this heartathome 🙏

I'm okay! @Chasingsunsets They are going to check his brain activity tonight sometime and put in a tracheotomy tomorrow. He has a fever but they don't know where it's coming from. They are trying to wake him up but he's not responding. I'd rather be home but won't leave until he's awake, if he does. I'm prepared as best I can for either way. 💜

Evening my friend 💛, I have just been reading. That’s really tough stuff @heartathome, he sounds still very unwell and I feel your concerns too 🫶. I understand why you wouldn’t want to leave right now but hear how you would feel more comfortable at your place, I have loved all your pics of your walks. Will be here with you throughout this tough time 🙏
