Something’s not right

really struggling

really struggling

im really really struggling and i dont know what to do.

im tired and worn out and purely exhausted and so overwhelmed

ive recently been dagnosed with 4 mental health conditions and insomnia.

im caring for everyone and they still seem to expect more and more but i literally have nothing left to give. im completley worn out! and when i say everyone i mean my pop, my siblings, and my mum. my pop im actually a carer for so that i completelty done mind but why am i the only one making an effort elsewhere.

i literally have no friends, the only family i have are the above meantioned and i know its the not the end all but it would be nice it have just little bit of support as at the moment i literraly have nothing.

im working as both a carer and i also like a pet sitter but i only do horses. so in general i rug feed, treat wounds if neccessary ride, clean paddocks etc while people are on holidays only kind of busy trhough easter xmas and other special occasions. as well as cring for my own horses

i feel sick all the time, i shake like a leaf and im having trouble controllling anything and everything. i just cant handle it. its too much and i do know what to do about it

Re: really struggling

I have mixed feelings about meds.

My GP sez to be wise about driving tho ... it is can be a catch 22 .. I drove kids .. when probably not safe but didnt know wot else to do.

Do you want to talk about .. where you need to drive to now

or your appointment?

Dont if it is too much.. ..

Re: really struggling

yeah i cant drive when ive taken the tablets so i cant do that. ive got to go pick someone up later thats the reason i cnat take them but thats not the problem

ive got to go to headspace tomorrow and im really freaking out!! like massively!

its a suicidal prevention program but im too scared to go. like im terrified!

what if people judge me?

what if people are there and they know who i am and they tell someone that i dont want to know whats happening?

what if people stare at me?

Hello @Former-Member

sending you some hugs

Keep distracting yourself , Is there something that you like doing xx

do you have any pets, ?? can you if you like to tell us things about yourself

Re: really struggling

I am glad you are mindful about substances and driving @Former-Member

I have to admit .. it took a long time for me to get that wise... I also have to do pick ups now

Suicidal Ideation is one of the most horrible things to manage .. it is totally triggering

These days Headspace are everywhere and frequently used by many .. dont let fear stop you getting support .. thats another catch 22

I stood outside one last week .. but i honestly couldnt tell who was going to headspace or the tuition offices.

Support first ..

Figuring out whose opinions to care about later ...

Re: really struggling

Hi @Former-Member,

Sorry for the delay in responding to you as I was on a meal break. It sounds like you are trying really hard and your impulse to self harm is related to anxiety about tomorrow.

Is there anyone at home that you sit with and chat to as a way of distraction? Or instead of cutting, use ice cubes and melt those on your skin. Flicking a hair band on your wrist can also cause an intense physical sensation that is not so harming.

How about calling Lifeline or Beyond Blue on 1300 224 636 and talking to a counsellor there about your fears and concerns re: headspace? They can help you work through it. No one at headspace is going to judge you, they are there to support you.

Keep in touch,

Frog
