Hi @REDLINEZ750 @Shaz51 @RebelliousAngel
Had a busy-ish day today after I finally persuaded myself to get up out of bed lol. So only just come online this evening.
@REDLINEZ750 thank you for sharing. I like that you are also able to talk about what's going on for you, your past and current challenges, etc. 😊 you dont bring me down at all. I also find just telling someone what's going on a helpful thing too, even when I know there isnt anything they can do. It feels good to be heard.
I do hope you can find a service that can give you the safe 1:1 indepth personalised support you want/need. Long-term help is a big gap in our systems funding. The 6-session EAP model and 6-10 session Medicare model for psychologists still make it hard to afford for those needing longterm routine support. Sometimes psychiatry is almost cheaper lol because there is no session limit and once you hit the Medicare safety net you dont pay much out of pocket. Assuming the system is still how it was 10 years ago, that is. It would be interesting actually to do the maths and see based on average hourly prices at what frequency of appointments that a psychiatrist would become cheaper than a psychologist due to the limited session rebate on the latter. 🤔
I think my parents has a set of hot pink sheets in the cupboard for the guest bed when I was growing up @Shaz51 😅. But i think they were a backup set, not the usual floral set that would be the go-to for guests lol.
I buy dark blue and purple sheets if possible. But most importantly the cheapest option of the fabrics I like lol. So if white is cheaper, then I'll pick white lol.
Is it nice to have them visiting?
I agree your user name is good @RebelliousAngel 😇. Sometimes I wonder if/what story people have behind their user names.
What's the most rebellious thing you have done? 😛 that youre willing to share, that is. 😉
