Loneliness

Loneliness

Loneliness is the biggest mental health issue worldwide and travelling through the forums I've come across many people looking for connection. Imagine if we could just talk to each other! It seems I need to learn to tag people, so they know that I've responded. I'm still learning to get my way around here. I do understand why people would leave, thinking, like me, that they could just go into a chat room. I guess it all needs to be monitored. Anyway, that's my whinge for today! My encouragement for today goes like this: There is no such thing as normal. The only normal I know is a setting on the washing machine! Be kind to yourself! Don't take it personally if I don't get back to you. I still can't work it all out! You'll just have to imagine my smiling emoji.

Re: Loneliness

@Oaktree Hi great meeting you on these forums. i like it very much you also do not like religion. i'm big on people with faith in truth and in love, and in particular those who have faith in Jesus as the truth of God' love, fort i count them my brothers and sisters.

i do like challenging religious people ruling God's Churches though. For i hate how religious people have robbed those with faith in Christ and taken their place.i will not let them chase me out of Church, for when i'm able and do go to Church, i pray non stop religion be destroyed as described in Revelation 17 & 18 very soon, for i hate her a lot ruling so many of God's Churches today.

Truly the name Church means 'body/gathering of believers, or believers as the Bride of Christ. Yet over the years religious people made believers serve an abominable god, made up by their carnal minds, not our Father in Heaven as brought to us by Jesus Christ. Doing this often made God's Churches places not open to fallen sinners, but rather forming a protective shield, scared seeing themselves as sinners, as well as scared of everyone else, hiding behind four walls every Sunday. True religion, according to James, takes care of the down trodden, lost, forsaken and not cared for people, and for believers not to be unloving and uncaring about those who have fallen or are in need, like this fallen world around us so often does.

i wrote a poem about this dilemma i like to share

Religious Lies Hide Jesus From Your Sight!
Did you know, that satan hides behind God's truth a big lie? (2 Thessalonians 2:8-12)
Masquerading an angel of light but really wants you to die? (2 Corinthians 11:14)
With him you ever await Jesus with your life under lies control, (1 Corinthians 15:33)
not living the power of God's Word freeing your wretched soul. (Luke 10:19)
Knowing your life doesn't celebrate Heaven's ever lasting good, (Ephesians 4:17)
for day in day out satan has you dine his black matter as food. (Colossians 2:8)

If God's Word has not given new birth in Christ to you as Mother, (1 Peter 1:22-25)
the devil is sure to have told you lies about God, self, and other. (2 Timothy 3:13)
For The Truth of God's love kills lies hiding in your heart within, (Zechariah 5)
indeed dinning on His grace will grow free from all wilful sin. (Romans 8:2)
Free from life in wrong dining with The Saints at Christ's Feast! (Song Of Songs 2:4)
Praising Eternal God in the place where wrong has now ceased! (Revelation 15:2-4)

So do consider letting God's Word be true in your life, Today, (Galatians 4:19)
ask Jesus to take any blindness to satan's lies ruling away. (Matthew 20:33)
For when the 'one ruling sin' within you has been revealed, (Daniel 7:8-14)
The mysteries of Scripture by The Lamb will be unsealed. (Revelation 4-7)
For Spirit life in The Son does the will of Him who loves true, (Ezekiel 36:24-30)
and will have you rejoicing Jesus Coming Soon also for you. (Revelation 1-3)

An awesome song about hearing Jesus speak rather that religion.

@AuntGlow Good meeting you here. As for how i'm feeling, after a roller-coaster ride over the last 6 or so weeks today has been much more stable. For today i have not been as down as i have been, but neither manic, rather a much more a relaxing day. So good to not have to hear the negativity of the depression, for it had been pursuing me for days already.

So glad to tell you that it has been a good day really. Also because the kidney stone i suffered from lastr night and early this morning passed now and did not cause me any major pain, like i know kidney stones can do.

i also court up with an old acquittance i had not seen for a few years this afternoon it was nice catching up.

Hoping you have a great day.

@Kashmina Great meeting you here. And yes i completely resonate with you about our values changing, for i have learned to understand that life is more important than being controlled to be mere cannon fodder feeding the money industry. And also that the status quo ruling human history for as long back as i can see is not going to change, but i can, and have been wise to so.

Not in my 50s any more like most of you seem to be. i'm half way my sixties instead. My life has only been significantly improving over the last 9 years, after life changing counselling brought me the tools to deal with my life long trauma.

Hoping you have a great day and will recover soon.

i really resonate with this song thinking back at myself down deep in times past.

Re: Loneliness

@DownMoreThanUp @others , pretty sure the word religion is made by mankind to control mankind, not even in bible? i agree about churches and so many people are in for a shock when they hear who are you?i dont know you boom upon them as they boast there "good works"

a passage that stuck with me is 'do everything without arguing or grumbling so you may become blessed and trusted children of the lord iin a warped and crooked generation.

been a long time simce bringing that up despite the bible constantly in view, its close though i just think blessed children might be faithful servants now sorry.

imagine not having access to our own new testaments and only ever knowing anothers view on the meanings of parables or the leadlight windows to go by.

parapets scaremongering unchecked going to hell not you are loved as you are and declaring faith with an open heart and an open mind has more weight than most outward displays of faith,

jesus is my saviour and i was wondering if his name was wellcome here then looking at posts and the acceptance of all by all, its more nonjudgemental and caring than any"church" and congregation of false prophecy.....

not a preacher, not religous i love Christ Jesus is all, i identify as born again.i feel safe in this forum.

@REDLINEZ750 So very happy meeting you here, and i fully agree the religious rulers in all believers are in for a shock meeting Jesus.

i do know i burned my religious self meeting Jesus for real. For only faith, love and hope in God's Son stand with God. Never an outward displays of good Christian morals and values.

i know having been brought up a religious believer and fell for this kind of thinking for many years. i feel embarrassed about all of that now, and love Jesus teaching me to have faith in His loving truth instead of my own 'good works'. Life has never been the same learning to understand Jesus is the Saviour of The whole world, not just those who go to Church. So very happy about that.😉

i like to share a poem i wrote once about this very topic.

If Jesus comes back to physically burn God's erring offspring, Jer 19:5.
could He judge those inner liars who did us our misery bring? Matt 7:2.
Would our Heavenly Father's desire then not be totally ignored? 1 Tim 2:3.
If on the devil's captives Jesus God's holy wrath still out poured? John 3:16.
What would have been the purpose of Jesus dying for all our sin, 1 John 2:2.
when most people who now live will not His salvation win? 1 Tim 4:9-10.

Would it not be truer when The Son removes all life dwelling in wrong, Rev 19:11-21.
freeing the captive hearts of those who desperately after good life long? Is 61:1.
God's love burning devil's lies out of sinners deceived and blinded mind, 1 Cor 3:11-15
so that a new and glorious life all the lost in Jesus can also freely find? Rev 1-3.
This is how i love to read the redemptive story of our crucified Lord. Ps 22.
All wicked lies keeping human hearts captive, perishing His (S)Word. Heb 4:12-13.

A very sobering song about religion stealing God's love from us.

Re: Loneliness

Hey @REDLINEZ750 It's nice to meet you. I went to the 35th Annual Mental Conference in Brisbane a couple of weeks ago and they spoke about how faith and spirituality is important to mental health. For some people their spiritual walk is a big part of their mental health. It's nice to find another Christian on here! 😊

Re: Loneliness

Hello @AuntGlow and apologies for not responding last night, I fell asleep with my laptop in hand!

Interesting you have felt the same .....

There is a part of me that needs more structure I feel. I go to classes two days a week and I volunteer one day. But the rest of the time I feel quite fatiqued and disconnected to life in general.

I feel if I could connect to my inner self more I may be able to shift this disconnection to the outside world. Honestly I am not sure what is happening there, maybe it is just how things are today.

I am studying womens advocacy but the core units are really based on advocating in general which is where my head is at in life. After a significant stop in life due to burnout 4 years ago and not being able to work for a couple of them, I found myself questioning what I wanted to do with the rest of my life?! I would like to support people in some way, help in the community. The two roles I have undertaken in the last couple of years reminded me where I dont want to be!
Other units in this course focus on personal and professional development which I feel will give me the confidence I feel I am lacking due to this stage in my life.

I would love to check-in to see what creations we have endeavoured to tackle 🙂

Painting and crocheting have been my go to.

What about you?
