Recovering from a psychotic episode at the moment.

Recovering from a psychotic episode at the moment.

Friday, the week before last, the voices in my head began taking over and soon after that i lost touch with my reality off and on until later Tuesday morning.Thank God i did nothing stupid, nor did i damage my relationship with my wife, as has happened in times past when psychotic.

Since late Tuesday morning no more voices, so that is good, but i'm so very tired and still not able to sleep. The problem i'm paranoid to drug myself out, because sleepers often don't work when i'm like this, and then i still wont be able to sleep, but will feel absolutely horrible from the sleepers confusing and clouding my mind, still running non stop anyhow. So when i take sleepers when in this state i run the real risk of making things worse rather helping me get some rest.

Hey 3am

Currently i'm having real problems sleeping as my mind wont stop!!!😪 i know from past psychotic times, i best let the mental energy flow run its natural course as much as possible, until my mind calms down enough to get more sleep.

Anyone else runs in these problems?

@Dimity @tyme @Bunniekins @rav3n @RiverSeal Thanks for supporting me.

Rejoice with me for the stone(s) passed late last night and i feel heaps better than last night. i must have drank 5 litres of water, and took a barrage of remedies against both the pain and infection. i even slept 5 hours last night in my first sleep.

Phew that was a painful saga, and i'm very glad it is over.

That's so good to hear @DownMoreThanUp . So glad you persisted. Great to see you here.

@tyme i have really enjoyed the support i received yesterday. Years ago, when i was depressed, i would hide away, and only write the bare minium. However then, just as Ren, in his song 'Hi Ren', points out we breed darkness within ourselves that confuses the crap out of us.

i have also learned, at least more often than not,🤔 not to let go of my good life, when bad life strikes, but await the bad mood to cycle passed. This is what i found really hard to learn, especially down deepest. For to hold onto good life, being crushed in that black hole going down along with bad life, is near impossible heeding my feelings, but if ignore them they cannot take hold of my tmind, and i can stay in control. Mindfulness, as well as God's word, taught me these important life lessons. For doing so reaps me good life, even out of bad times in the end, and increasingly so.

i know when i began my battle i could only last a few minutes when depression would strike, before i would cave in heeding my feelings again, and yet although slowly at first, i began to hold onto my good life increasingly more often seeing the result this had on me cycling through my bad moods.

These have been the most important lessons in my life.

i wrote a prose i wrote only a few hours before a major psychosis took over my minds once more and landed me in hospital. Yet i never forgotten the important lessons i learned before disaster struck, and writing these eye opening lines. (at least for me at the time)

Meditation Hour.
A heart full of grace - has no trouble feeling guilty.
When the liar lifts his head just bow yours to the truth.
To be able to listen well you will need clearly audible voices.
A few good working tips minimise the need for heavy labour.
Love an evil person to death and a saint is raised before your eyes.
Open windows provides a much improved view than drawn curtains.
The darkest black in your eyes is needed to be able to see The Light.
Awaking after darkness has fallen lives the lost of their Light Of Day worst.
A mind crazed by the guilt of wrongdoing is the best plough horse one can possibly find.
What greater greatness to live than The Love you met when you were down on your knees?
True Love melts a heart of stone but beware fear bites deep when the heart becomes jelly.
Stones are useful as building materials, please don’t throw them at your enemy.
A mouth closed when it should speak pours burning sulphur when it opens.
The highest high is in The Heaven's Above so we better be well prepared!
The deepest waters hide your greatest fears please do not swim there!
Seeing in the light is a telling sight yet to see in the dark reveals it all.
To sing love's praises is living the rhythms of Life's Eternal Melody.

@Bunniekins Thanks. i love that song. i believe The light of life not only fixes us, only the light of life within us gives meaning to our existence, and has overcome all darkness.

i know so well how true the light of life speaks to all who love good and true to be.

Thanks for sharing.

I agree with you @DownMoreThanUp . My tactic was also avoidance. I don't think I really appeared in the world for a good 10 years... so that's why I feel like i'm making up for the years I missed out on 'living'.

i had such a good day yesterday. My wife and i had lunch with two of our three daughters, and 2 of our grand kids, and had a lovely beach walk together. The weather was lovely, so was the lunch our girls had so thoughtfully packed for us.

Also i would like to share a song i found to be really helpful releasing some of the hurt of past abuse i suffered. My therapist taught me, to take 'small manageable bites' of the enormity hurting me hell inside.

This song had me cry wonderful tears with Jesus arms of pure love rapped around me. It was so good that i got no words to express the relief i lived doing that. For i have cried many tears about my sexual abuse with Jesus over the years, and that has been wonderful, but i have never sobbed the pain that ultimately caused my life biggest hell for so long. And i know now has been the prime reason i lost touch with so many of my emotions, for so many years.

HOWEVER PLEASE BE WARNED THIS SONG COULD TRIGGER THE PAIN OF PAST TRAUMA IF NOT READY TO FACE THE ENORMITY OF SUCH AN EXPERIENCE.

Still down the dumps and feeling crook on top of it all. My hands are shaking from the tension my body is under, so weird how i can simply go on tilt without any triggers whatsoever. i know i have to calm myself down otherwise anxiety will pile on the load.

And then to think that just a few days ago i felt on top of the world.☹️

Hoping you are all doing better than me.🤗
