Recovering from a psychotic episode at the moment.

Recovering from a psychotic episode at the moment.

Friday, the week before last, the voices in my head began taking over and soon after that i lost touch with my reality off and on until later Tuesday morning.Thank God i did nothing stupid, nor did i damage my relationship with my wife, as has happened in times past when psychotic.

Since late Tuesday morning no more voices, so that is good, but i'm so very tired and still not able to sleep. The problem i'm paranoid to drug myself out, because sleepers often don't work when i'm like this, and then i still wont be able to sleep, but will feel absolutely horrible from the sleepers confusing and clouding my mind, still running non stop anyhow. So when i take sleepers when in this state i run the real risk of making things worse rather helping me get some rest.

Hey 3am

Currently i'm having real problems sleeping as my mind wont stop!!!😪 i know from past psychotic times, i best let the mental energy flow run its natural course as much as possible, until my mind calms down enough to get more sleep.

Anyone else runs in these problems?

@Bunniekins It is comforting to know others know what it is like down here and care about me being there!

As i was sitting outside in the garden meditating on what happens to the goodness of life down deep, Life had this on offer, coming swimming past!

New Life Even with mum and dad darkest black! All four have been swiming past showing off their beauty for the last hour or so.

Life living said to me, (pondering those swans at this moment in time,) that not all darkest black brings forth darkest offspring. Hearing this sure brought me much hope.😃

The awesomeness of hearing Life tell me got me energised enough to take some photos and share them here.

(Be going back now!😍)

Thank you for caring.

It turned out be a bad day fore me. Firstly i been rather down, though this has eased somewhat later on in the day, but then my kidney flared back up again this afternoon. Much worse than been, i'm sweating the pain even now.

i'm really hope that it is not an infection of my kidneys, from the stone i passed recently, for i feel also slightly unwell and sweaty, last time i had that it ended me in hospital in Perth for a whole week. ( i had hardly any visors apart of my wife who slept at her sisters to visit me, but i never slept a wink all week and i came out as high as a kite! Praying it will not end up like that this time.

@DownMoreThanUp I wonder if your mh and kidney stones are indeed related. UTIs can cause "confusion". I'm pretty sure I had undiagnosed UTIs associated with a number of my early psychotic breaks.

My lack of sleep in hospital after surgery probably contributed to my psychotic relapse a few months ago. I hadn't had one for many years.

It's good you're so well aware of your mental and physical health. I hope you can sleep well tonight.

Re: Recovering from a psychotic episode at the moment.

@Dimity Yes you are very right, this could be the case, and we are very aware of that. Last time i had a kidney stone i also suffered from a bad kidney infection, (and send me right off,) which got into my blood and only strongest of antibiotics could treat me in far away Perth. They flew me there with the flying doctor. For the time i came to hospital i had already been feverish for days, but not linked it to anything, apart of not feeling well at all mood wise.

So both my wife and me are on full alert. Keeping an eye on any signs of running a fever, blood in the urine, or my mood swinging more wildly.

@Dimity @tyme @Bunniekins @rav3n @RiverSeal Thanks for supporting me.

Rejoice with me for the stone(s) passed late last night and i feel heaps better than last night. i must have drank 5 litres of water, and took a barrage of remedies against both the pain and infection. i even slept 5 hours last night in my first sleep.

Phew that was a painful saga, and i'm very glad it is over.
