I did my first international trip last year. I spent a week in Fiji and it was really eye opening and soooo far outside of my comfort zone that over the first couple of days I had some pretty severe panic attacks, but once I settled, I absolutely loved it.
I'm not going anywhere for a while. I need to settle into my life, and let my life settle for while. But, my bucket list travel destinations include....
- Scotland.
- Canada (Nova Scotia)
- Alaska maybe
- Gettysburg, and Salem

Well done @NightFury ! I'm so glad you were able to enjoy it after the initial adjustment period. I know other people who have had anxiety and/or culture shock with travelling which makes it harder. Knowing this makes me even more grateful that I dont have anxiety difficulties.
I like your future bucket list. 😊
I also love how much we can access online too now! Even sometimes observation cameras at zoos from our own homes! Makes travel explorations possible from our comfortable homes too and affordable!

Hi Friends Just Found This Thread While Pondering away my day My Dream Trip ? Would well I have at one time thought Scotland to go where some of my ancesters once lived and explore the Highlands , although thats still of importance The hopeless Romantic side of me would be to have a dream trip to find love ,not the kind of love that passes you buy or the kind of love your too small to fill expections of but a deep true ,Reasuring steady Love that doesnt waver that doesnt speak harshly that just welcomes you with open arms a big smile and a beautifull warm hug if there was such a dream trip place I would travel there provided I had the Money and Confidence of self to do so maybe somewhere with a sandy beach and blue Turquoise Sky Maybe in Another Life another Universe

Oohh, that sounds interesting @LostAngel . I was going to suggest maybe you could find that "perfect love" in Scotland and combine the 2 😉, but then I read the part about a sandy beach and a turquoise sky 🤣 which doesn't sound Scotland compatible from what I've heard of UK beaches and weather lol.
Maybe you can join the virtual trip to Bali 😋. There may not be romantic love, but friends can still share meaningful platonic love, a big smile and a warm hug. 🥰
