I really don't know what my dream trip is. I feel my life is a dream trip.
I think a lot comes to expenses. If I didn't have to pay anything, I'd travel everyday! But by the time you get passports, visas, tickets etc, I can't really be bothered to have too many trips.
What about you? What's your dream trip?

@tyme yeah travel is so expensive😣. Its the only reason I am motivated to work even though I find coping with life very hard, and especially the impact of working on my life. But I figure that I don't spend money on make-up, movies/video games, expensive foods, alcohol, cigarettes, etc so this is my "instead". Unfortunately I also dont spend money on my physical or mental health either sometimes though because it would be hard to save anything for travel if I did - but I'm slowly trying to find what *actually* helps my health so my money is more effective and maybe can increase my work hours in the long term and thus pay for more travel in the future too. So often I want to quit work, but then think "how would I pay for overseas travel? I wouldn't get to."
In a few months I will get to go to 2 places I have wanted to visit since I was 15. 🥰 this has been keeping me alive this year.
If anyone ever wants tips on how to travel cheap (but its not for everyone!) Or help finding interesting things to see/do places - please tag me. 🙂 its an interest of mine. I actually studied tourism at university 😅🤭.

@Glisten I did it remotely, so I don't mind saying which Uni. I've never been on campus there lol. I studied through Uni Southern Qld because I liked their program (and it was 100% online). I wanted to do business management, not just hospitality and travel agency studies around tourism. So it was either Southern Qld or Edith Cowan Uni as options. And I decided Southern Qld had subjects I preferred a bit more, plus I like the trimester system so I could study 3 terms per year, not 2, and thus less subjects at a time (over 7-8 years)

If my expenses were fully covered and my cats taken care of, I’d go back to UK for couple months. Travelling around visiting and stopping at places of my choosing.
train trip through Rocky Mountains has always attracted my attention.
atm wanting to travel to various specific small country towns of my paternal ancestors. Couple specific towns that have always, and still do, feel like home

Honestly, right now my dream trip would be to go somewhere tropical where I can eat nourishing and flavourful foods, practice yoga, dance, sing, connect with new people, and just follow my feet... I think that would be really grounding and freeing. What about you?
