Sane Tour De Aus!

Sane Tour De Aus!

@AlwaysMyself

Here is a thread where we can support each other to use our mini cycles.

I plan to watch tv while I do it. I might put some of the big world’s cycling races on the telly on SBS on demand while I do it. I need to decide how often I want to try and use it.

Re: Sane Tour De Aus!

Well done @ENKELI

It sure has been stormy in Perth today.

We went for a drive to my son’s house to drop over some food but before we could do that part of our fence blew down.

Well done @ENKELI ! 😄

Omg @Oaktree ! That's a real wind you must have got there to blow down part of the fence! Hope it can get repaired OK and no animals escaping etc.

(Tempted to make a joke about you making a new fence from an Oak Tree 😉 )

Lol @AlwaysMyself

I wish I could make my own fence.

I wagged day 2 of the tour

I've had a big few days with life stress. Hopefully tonight, or even before my dawn beach walk

New GP today. My old one left for greener pastures (Full fee paying clinic in an affluent suburb) mid way through cross tapering my antidepressant

@DogMan79

Good luck with your new GP

I hope they are nice

You didn’t wag day two, you took a rest day! They do it all the time in the big tours. Happy cycling today.

I have to go out but I will do my cycling when I get back.

Re: Sane Tour De Aus!

Somebody else mentioned having music going during the workout. I should have done that this morning. I ended quickly with losing concentration

Re: Sane Tour De Aus!

@DogMan79 oh now that is pretty inconvenient. I hope the new GP is understanding and helpful as you work your meds out. It's sometimes a bit of a gamble isn't it.

Thinking of you

Day 3 Sane Tour de Aus!

I just did my 10 minutes

It feels like a long time but I am not cycling very fast lol. I think it’s just the movement that is important.

@DogMan79

How did you go with your new GP?

I hope the change in meds isn’t too disruptive for you.

Re: Sane Tour De Aus!

@DogMan79 dont let not doing it yesterday get you down! We all need a rest day sometimes like @Oaktree said 🙂

I hope the new GP is good and can provide what the other one was lacking. I hope the medication titration goes well, that can be a rough time indeed.

Was it @ENKELI who had the bright idea of music the other day while cycling?

Since you all reminded me of this, I decided to do mine while listening to the last part of the planet america podcast, which I want to finish listening to before I watch the new tv episode show tonight - I have a tradition now of watching it with my mum each week (or twice weekly). So yay I did my little bit today, was about 7min. I nearly forgot except that I saw this thread in my notifications, so it's working!!
