Tillogram

Hi All

@tyme @AuntGlow @Jynx @rav3n @MJG017 @NightFury @Shaz51 @MissGremlin @Appleblossom @Dimity and many others I have accidentally forgotten to tag

Just letting people know I am back safely from my trip.

I had a great trip, my sport event was brilliant and then I travelled a little bit.

Not sure how much engagement I will have with forums as only just returned to this cold weather!

I'm not sure what's been happening, but I hope everyone is well.

Re: Tillogram

Thanks @Till23 . A mix of burnout (both from longterm MH not improving and also workplace issues) and a few workplace issues escalating it too. Most MH, and the additional challenges of then not coping as well with my CF limitations and physical pain levels. (You already welcome to read on the other thread, but its not very happy so if you are at all sensitive to being affected by others negativity).

Re: Tillogram

Sorry, I meant the age you are eligible for the age pension @Shaz51 which is currently 67..

Yes, many people have to retire before 67 because of ill health, injuries or because they can't get employment. This is often the case especially if you are doing many of the manual type jobs.

Re: Tillogram

What's your other thread called @AlwaysMyself ?.

Yes, workplace issues that's certainly a can of worms..

I am sorry you have had to deal with those on top of physical and mental health challenges..

Re: Tillogram

@Till23 I imagine that would be both exhausting and heartbreaking to be caring for & watching your father deteriorate from cancer. 😢 I am glad you were able to retire early after that and look after your MH needs more. Having worked so hard to be able to save up to retire early must have also been exhausting over many years too.

The thread is TW: The 'real' me inside - I come with an SI warning -- you can see from the title that it may not be suitable for some people to read, and I 100% support and respect people in that. So please never feel expected or pressured.

Posts more specifically about my thoughts on options for taking time off (to avoid the other triggering posts) https://lifeline.saneforums.org/t5/Managing-thoughts-of-suicide/TW-The-real-me-inside-I-come-with-an-SI-warning/m-p/1766484/highlight/true#M9584

I realise I don't actually have a single post that sums up the triggers of the burnout from work and life. A lot of it comes also from the persistent SI which I haven't been able to shift for more than 12 months now.

I don't know if you have any interest in it, but just in case you are, there is a new thread about neurodiverse burnout - just in case you are interested from the burnout angle. Neurodivergence and burn out

Re: Tillogram

Yes @AlwaysMyself it was a difficult time caring for my father and his passing. I still have things to do with regard to his things.

At times I worked 6 and a half days a week I was so worried about not having enough money to be able to have my own space. So I needed enough money to be able to do that.

I am feeling quite tired and need to get up early for volunteering tomorrow morning, so I will sign off now.

I hope you are recovering from any fatigue brought on by your Melbourne trip. Thanks for chatting

@AlwaysMyself @I’m so glad you got to explore the CBD. There’s a lot to see there isnt there. Any highlights?

Im still not quite sure which State you are in or if in NT. I do know it’s hot as you’ve mentioned that before!

Im having chronic fatigue too. Not sure what it is caused by. I don’t know a lot about it.

Re: Tillogram

Hello lovely! No apologies needed, I have also been delayed! @Till23

I understand feeling frozen and not being sure how to respond to things at times. That usually happens when I am overstimulated and need to come back to myself. 💛

Ah, so real connections, a sense of purpose, and genuine joy sound really important right now. And this is incredibly valid, I think needing these things and wanting these things shows that you know there is more you that you haven't tapped into yet.

Can we explore the idea of you sharing in this thread when you notice yourself connected to one of the above 3 things? You have already started by sharing some glimmers from last week - so I am wondering if we can continue this process? I think it will be really helpful!

I just read your recent post and I think my question here is - what does your heart want most in this moment? And if that doesn't feel accessible right now, what does your body need most? 🥰

Hello @AuntGlow I wasn't thinking you would have time to respond tonight, you seem busy as ever. I

Hope you have a restful and productive time away from forums.
