Tillogram

Hi All

@tyme @AuntGlow @Jynx @rav3n @MJG017 @NightFury @Shaz51 @MissGremlin @Appleblossom @Dimity and many others I have accidentally forgotten to tag

Just letting people know I am back safely from my trip.

I had a great trip, my sport event was brilliant and then I travelled a little bit.

Not sure how much engagement I will have with forums as only just returned to this cold weather!

I'm not sure what's been happening, but I hope everyone is well.

Re: Tillogram

Hi @AuntGlow I hope you are well.. Sorry for my delayed response, I have been busy, then I had some internet issues

Sounds like you are doing some interesting study. Do you do both of those qualifications at a uni and is it face to face or online?

Re: Tillogram

@Till23 I have a family member in Melbourne I am visiting. They are currently living in a very convenient location but will be moving in a few months, so I am visiting whilst theyre still in a great location 😅... having said that maybe i should walk around tomorrow to explore the area and actually make use of the location!

Ahh i seek the same as you in social interactions! I don't want more aquaintances in f2f life, i have more than enough of those. I wish i had more solid, deep, trusted, dependable friends who both ask for help and can be asked for help. I find it hard to find situations/events in which to meet people to try to see if i find people i click with. I did make a new and now good friend a few years ago 🥰. I hope the person you have recently reached out to goes well and maybe even develop into the quality friendship you are seeking.

I hope you get some good rest tonight.

I'm going to bed now, so hopefully I will also. Mostly better from my cold now thankfully - just a little lingering.

Re: Tillogram

Sorry for tardy response @AlwaysMyself I have been quite busy.

Sounds like it's ideal for you to take advantage of a good opportunity to have a look around Melbourne.

I hope you have/are having a good time.

I had a good time going to a show with my new acquaintance. Hopefully we will catch up at a group event next weekend. We do have quite a few similarities, so just have to see how it goes.

I am quite tired this evening. I have been up early for sport and have done a couple of things since, still I feel more tired than the activity warrants.

Anyhow another busy week next week, not bad at beginning of week but quite busy at the end including busy weekend.

I hope your trip to Melbourne turns out to be a good experience for you.

Re: Tillogram

Hey @Till23 , not a tardy response at all. 😊 I wasn't online yesterday as I was busy walking around Melbourne during the day (street art, window-looking at what unique shops are around) and the evening with my family member. I am glad I went, even though it is 2 days travel for 2 days there. I got some 3d plaster figurines to paint, which I can't (to my knowledge) get them in my area -- other than maybe if a person from 2 hours away comes to a market and happens to bring one I like. Give me something to do over Christmas / New Year.

Sounds like a very long day for you also! I hope the sport was enjoyable this morning. 🙂 I hope the extra tiredness isn't a sign of brewing burnout or illness for you. 😰. Hopefully you can get some rest at the early part of the week before it gets too busy. I encourage you that by resting yourself you will then be able to give more of yourself later in the week. 😊

Hope you get a good night sleep and feel abit more refreshed tomorrow.

I hope you feel good for the activities you have been doing this weekend and upcoming this week. 😊

Re: Tillogram

Sounds like you are having fun in Melbourne @AlwaysMyself

Also great that you were able to obtain some plaster figurines. Maybe different from your gnomes?

I can't remember what state you live in.

I have to say I do feel a bit burnt out, which seems ridiculous, since I do less now that when I was working. Although I am doing a range of different things. And if I'm honest I have been waking up very early every morning for an hour or so, even though I usually go back to sleep.

The show I went to was quite uplifting, so that was good.

I hope you continue to have a great time in Melbourne

Re: Tillogram

@Till23 got back home from Melbourne today. I haven't said on the forum exactly where I am from, but occasionally I will have made a comment or two on either my help-seek thread or here (rather than on the more-viewed social threads) that the breadcrumbs could be put together 😉. I believe I am in a territory within a few hours drive (3-5 hours I wonder? I don't know exactly where you are, so I am guessing here) of you. 😉 I wonder if @Cuddlebear figured out where I live already? 😛 Detective sleuth puzzle from previous comments lol. (I don't mind frequent users of the forums like yourselves knowing where I am from, but try to avoid outright stating it due to it being completely open to anyone who might search to build a profile).

As we age our bodies often do find things more tiring; I think that is normal. I just wish that for me "aging" in this way didn't start when I was 16! 🤣 (I have chronic fatigue since then lol).

I am often reminding my mother and grandmother that yes things will feel more tiring for them than it did in the past 😅 and not to expect themselves to be able to do as much as they always did when they were younger.

I don't know your age, but I know you are retired. Not sure if keeping this side-effect of natural aging in mind is helpful or not for accepting your own feelings of fatigue and giving yourself grace and being gentle with yourself when you do feel more tired than anticipated. 😊

Re: Tillogram

Hi @AlwaysMyself is it good to be back home.? I hope you enjoyed your time in Melbourne, sounds like you did a few things while there..

I completely understand not mentioning your location, that's why I only asked about the state. I am in NSW.

I am sorry that you have chronic fatigue, it seems to me that you are managing that well if you are working.

Hello @Cuddlebear I hope you are managing with your medicatin withdrawals as well as possible.

In response to: Re: Tillogram

Re: Tillogram

Yeah, but im not in a "state" @Till23 😉😉😉.

I am "managing well" on the outside usually. But on the inside have been getting worse for 2 years now.

Re: Tillogram

current 68 retirement age it is now @Till23 , @AlwaysMyself

I am only just retired and I certainly didn't go to the current 67 retirement age -- i am only 61 but with kidney disease and other complications I had to retire

sending you both lots of tender hugs 😍

Re: Tillogram

Right @AlwaysMyself I understand now. Sometimes quite a bit cooler than where I am.

I certainly understand "managing well" on the outside. However, I am sorry that you feel you have been getting worse on the inside.

Do you mean with regard to MH or chronic fatigue?

Hope going to Melbourne didn't take too much out of you.
