Tillogram

Hi All

@tyme @AuntGlow @Jynx @rav3n @MJG017 @NightFury @Shaz51 @MissGremlin @Appleblossom @Dimity and many others I have accidentally forgotten to tag

Just letting people know I am back safely from my trip.

I had a great trip, my sport event was brilliant and then I travelled a little bit.

Not sure how much engagement I will have with forums as only just returned to this cold weather!

I'm not sure what's been happening, but I hope everyone is well.

Re: Tillogram

I think I feel there is no expectations with nature @AuntGlow I can just appreciate it and interact with it. I do not have to worry if I am doing the "right" thing. I somehow know what the right thing is. I do not feel that nature is judging me, I can be myself. I feel like I belong. I can feel spiritual just my own self and my own traditions. It is only like that if I am by myself though. I can appreciate nature with other people but I am still wearing a mask.

A lot of me needs healing. It is not my choice that therapy ended. I am going to see a psychologist I saw for a little while between my cancer diagnoses.

I hope you are well. Looks like you are riding solo on forums tonight

Re: Tillogram

This makes so much sense @Till23.

I want to explore all of this more with you when I am on next, if that's okay?

I know it wasn't your choice that therapy ended, I remember how hard that time was for you. 💛

I am very happy to know you will see someone soon, especially someone familiar. I understand you feel like there aren't as many reasons to be here now that things have shifted as of late... Are you feeling safe tonight? I know you have lots of resources, but I always have to check, because I care about you and want to know you're okay.

I will be heading off now, but I will check back in soon to see your reply.

I hope you have a restful evening and thank you for chatting. 🫶

Re: Tillogram

Really sorry to hear you weren't feel good today @Shaz51 . Hope you are currently have a lovely sleep and rest and when you wake in the morning that you are feeling a lot better. Sending many hugs of care and healing wishes. 🥰

@Till23 who you are yourself naturally will always be "good enough" for me. 😊 I know it might be hard to believe that, thats ok. But I genuinely like when I get to chat to you, and definitely dont "just tolerate" you. 😊

I know the feeling of not connecting with others sometimes though. I am lucky to have a few good friends I do feel I can connect to, but the vast amount of friendly people I meet I feel no connection to or interest in conversing.

Im always glad to hear that you can find some peace and solace in connecting with nature though.

Oops my eyes are starting to droop. So definitely time for me to go to the land of the snooze too 😴😴😴

Re: Tillogram

Hi @tyme how are you? I haven't chatted to you for ages. I've been back from national sport comp for about 10 days. Had a pretty good time there, but now back to reality. I think I'm getting a cold which is not making things any easier!

Re: Tillogram

Hello hello! Thanks for the tag @Till23 ! Missed you! I've also been away. Took the kiddos camping. It was really cold. Much colder than the other times we've been out.

I know some people on the forums talk about S.A.D... I can see how real it is. When the sun it out, I really feel so much better.

How as the comp anyway? Sounds so exciting! I hope you enjoyed your time away. Was it stressful?

I hope you rest up from that cold!

Re: Tillogram

Hi thanks for your reply @AuntGlow I did not see it last night. I think I am getting a cold which is not helping me, I've been very tired and feeling cold last couple of nights.

I don't think that I have lots of resources, I may have less than other people as I live alone and have no one near me. I don't have any pets currently.

I just try not to make a fuss and bother people. I sort of go quiet really. I find it difficult to interact on the other threads because I can't raise the positivity.

Hope you have a good break

Re: Tillogram

Hi @tyme sounds like a fun camping trip. I definitely do not have SAD. It's been quite sunny where I am.

Yeah it was quite stressful at the comp, but that wasn't the worst part. I'm sort of ok if I have something to do. The social functions I found difficult.

I have not been well really since I came back from overseas in late June and found my psych was discharging me. I've just been scraping by since then, I have really quite difficult days.

I haven't been chatting much on threads because I just can't raise any positivity or anything to pass on. I've considered reaching out for me, but haven't felt worthwhile

Re: Tillogram

Hey @Till23 ,

Sorry you hear that your mind is telling you are not worthwhile to contribute.

I think there can be a bit of a 'negative bias' when we tell ourselves we have to post in a recovery-oriented way. What do you think?

I wonder if we need to make this thread clearer How To: Recovery Focused Posting ? Interested to hear your thoughts.

It's not that members can't have challenges, but it's about how they post about this on the forums.

Anyway, that was just a side note. Apologies.

I know that keeping busy keeps you well-er. I think we established that we are similar in this way!

I get you about the social side of things!!! So draining!

I need to start wrapping up now, but I look forward to connecting with you more 🙂

Re: Tillogram

Oh, and with the psych who discharged you, was that the therapist who focused on the supporting those with cancer @Till23 ?
