Tillogram

Hi All

@tyme @AuntGlow @Jynx @rav3n @MJG017 @NightFury @Shaz51 @MissGremlin @Appleblossom @Dimity and many others I have accidentally forgotten to tag

Just letting people know I am back safely from my trip.

I had a great trip, my sport event was brilliant and then I travelled a little bit.

Not sure how much engagement I will have with forums as only just returned to this cold weather!

I'm not sure what's been happening, but I hope everyone is well.

Re: Tillogram

So @tyme are you saying there are people without intrinsic worth ?.

Are you saying some people have to do things to have worth?.

That's interesting

Well I suppose that's me then.

I'm just trying to do my best, hoping it's helpful, even though it often appears it's not. I try to support people on forums. I am doing it less because I think it's maybe not all that helpful. I also find many times it's a bit one way.

I'm trying to do a couple of lived experience things

So, I don't know if there is anything that would be helpful.

Anyhow I know the PSWs are busy and this is supposed to be a peer to peer platform, so I don't want to waste precious time

Re: Tillogram

Oooo @Till23 . Sorry I wasn't very clear with my post. My apologies.

No, I'm not saying there are people without intrinsic worth.

I was trying to say that people don't necessarily pick who they connect with just because they think that person has intrinsic worth.

Sorry if I'm getting all my words and sentences tangled and jumbled.

So in lay terms, you DO matter. You are worth it, and we hear you.

Re: Tillogram

Thanks @Shaz51 you are a lovely forums member, buzzing around the threads trying to assist people, dropping in comments and invitations here and there, being open and inclusive.

All this when you have so much going on for yourself, Mr Shaz and your family you are definitely a forums treasure and I treasure your interactions. I don't think there is a frequency in which you ahve to respond to people though so no "Should"

I don't know if you saw my comment above about getting a Chronic Condition Management Plan which can get you physiotherapy or exercise physiology sessions which amy be helpful for aches and pains and doesn't involve medications, which may not be suitable for you with chronic kidney disease

Hi @Shaz51! Thank you for the tag, I hope you're well and have enjoyed a cup of joe - I will share one with you tomorrow morning? 🥰

@Till23 I was just thinking about you and wondering how you are/how your sports are going? I would also love to know how you're healing and if you've been transitioning okay out of therapy?

Here if you need to talk. 💛

Re: Tillogram

Starting to rain heavily here again and we are yet again on floodwatch!

I was pretty sure you weren't saying that people don't have intrinsic worth @tyme . But thought I would clarify. You don't need to apologise.

I'll just keep on getting on with my stuff.

I fill my days as much as possible with multiple volunteering roles (including LE).

I'm also using different types of physical exercise as that is known to be beneficial for MH conditions.

I no longer have any MH treatment having been discharged and MHCP has expired.
So although I’m definitely not good enough I’m at least it's trying I suppose.

Re: Tillogram

Hi @AuntGlow Hope you are well and settling into your new accommodation and enjoying your singing, dancing etc. Anyhow, I see you are about to clock off...so I'll just quickly say.

. I am not well, but such is life.

. I am currently not having any MH treatment.

. I am just trying to manage myself, as I have done most of my life. I've existed this long

. I don't want to take up any of your time, I know you have other more pressing threads to attend to

Re: Tillogram

I'm so glad @Shaz51 that you are getting a chronic disease plan. It seems like this could have been done a while ago.

I don't think you get many sessions, but if you can learn stuff that you can do at home that's helpful.

After my cancer surgery my GP wrote me one and I got some physio sessions and some were with resistance bands and I bought a resistance band and did the exercises at home as I don't have any other actual equipment but the physio got me to weigh my container full of firewood and then I could do 20kg lifts with the firewood in the container and stuff like that without spending too much money.

Oops just lost TV reception in this storm, electricity will be next better log off

Hey @Till23 just wanted to pop by and see how you're going today. Heard you had a bit of a storm there last night? Hope the electricity stayed on for you in the end!
