Tillogram

Hi All

@tyme @AuntGlow @Jynx @rav3n @MJG017 @NightFury @Shaz51 @MissGremlin @Appleblossom @Dimity and many others I have accidentally forgotten to tag

Just letting people know I am back safely from my trip.

I had a great trip, my sport event was brilliant and then I travelled a little bit.

Not sure how much engagement I will have with forums as only just returned to this cold weather!

I'm not sure what's been happening, but I hope everyone is well.

Re: Tillogram

You know, I should start doing that too... my asthma is feeling rather inflamed at the moment. @Till23

House-hunting is definitely hard at the moment, but I endeavour to have good news soon!

I appreciate you sharing this with us so much, and I can't even begin to imagine how vulnerable and triggering this must have been for you. Do you have anyone in your care network you can reach out to for extra support at the moment?

Aside from sleep being a little scarce, it seems like movement has really helped you build a sense of momentum - sounds like dopamine is doing its thing, whoo!

I think skipping volunteering is okay, especially if you feel people may have questions you don't want to answer right now. You can come back to it in time, your health comes first.

Table tennis, yay! That will be so much fun.

Feel free to use the Intention Setting thread for some little goals for yourself this week too, if you'd like! ☺️💛

Re: Tillogram

I am so glad I do not have to do house hunting at the moment @AuntGlow.

I think it is much worse now than before. There was a story on the news or 7.30 or something recently about rents and they showed some rentals from around where I used to live and I couldn't believe what they were charging for quite run down places.

I hope you are able to find something soon it can be so stressful.

Also sorry to hear your asthma is not good at the moment

I don't have a care network. I used to at least have my psych, but no more. I don't really have friends just acquaintances, so I wouldn't discuss this kind of stuff with them.

Yes movement is good, but since 6am this morning the longest I have not moved as per Fitbit is 13minutes so it's too much, but to me, it seems better than self-medicating with alcohol or other drugs. It helps to stop me thinking how horrible I am.

I am reticent to post elsewhere apart from this thread and Yarning Space because I don't want to upset people, or say the wrong thing. I only log in while I am writing a post, because I don't know if people seeing my user name will be upsetting.

I do enjoy table tennis, but I'll have the same problem tomorrow of having facial bruising, grazes and lacerations. I'll have to see if it looks too bad I may not go. I can just say I fell off my roof, I suppose.

Re: Tillogram

I sent you an email a little earlier if you haven't seen it already.

@Till23

I'm more than happy to stay on this thread to connect with you. I was just working through my 101+ notifications and I saw your name so I wanted to tag you before I get to this thread 🙂

So glad to see you.

I'm here if there is anything you want to talk about or unpack. How's your day been?

Re: Tillogram

Yes @tyme I know the PSWs are very busy doing a good job as always.

It's been a very windy day here and even though the sun has peeked out it hasn't had much impact because of the wind.

Re: Tillogram

Hey @Till23 ,

Thank you so much for sharing.

That is so powerful. The fact that you could immerse yourself in nature is truly incredible. I remember you once sharing that walking on teh grass bare-footed can be so soothing. I've really learnt a lot from you.

In relation to your last appointment, I'm not sure if I've shared, but for me, when I knew I had my last appointment, I had two options:

1) avoid the ending and live forever knowing I avoided it

2) move towards it and openly share about the grief/loss, but also celebrate the growth and change.

I chose the latter. It was hard, but I'm glad I did.

I'm not saying it will be any easier for you, but it's important to acknowledge all the work over the years and to use this opportunity as a way to 'practice' what you have been supported with. Hope this makes some sorta sense.

I believe in you.

Re: Tillogram

Thanks for sharing your experiences @tyme Yes actually normally I would have at least some time in the bush without my shoes on to have my bare feet touch the earth.

Today I did not do that because I was so focused on collecting good materials and despite it not being the optimal season I still managed to find some good things.

There is no way I wouldn't go to the last appointment with psych, so I will definitely go

I suppose I will mostly listen to her, but I'm pretty sure it will just be logistics and when she sees me

I hope I can speak about how I feel.

Thanks for chatting.

I hope you have a good remainder of evening
