Tillogram

Hi All

@tyme @AuntGlow @Jynx @rav3n @MJG017 @NightFury @Shaz51 @MissGremlin @Appleblossom @Dimity and many others I have accidentally forgotten to tag

Just letting people know I am back safely from my trip.

I had a great trip, my sport event was brilliant and then I travelled a little bit.

Not sure how much engagement I will have with forums as only just returned to this cold weather!

I'm not sure what's been happening, but I hope everyone is well.

Re: Tillogram

Hi @Shaz51

You have got to be amongst the most supportive people on the forums in my opinion.

I'm not sure if I understand what "skimming on the surface" means.

However, to me, it doesn't appear as if you are skimming the surface.

I am wondering if you mean with respect to people enquiring after you or supporting you, or your support of other people.

I have to say, I don't often tag people unless I am replying directly to them. Sometimes, I will tag a person or two if I know we have conversed about a similar topic or they might be intersted in the topic, but I don't do it routinely.

I think of you often and wonder how you and Mr Shaz are going, as to me, it seems like you have a huge amount going on and on top of that you are on the forums supporting people.

I am no so often on the forums, and definitely don't comment as much as I used to. I have always enjoyed my interactions with you and I love your love of nature and plants. I think other people on the forums really appreciate you too

Re: Tillogram

thank you for your message @Till23 😍

"Skimming on the surface" means.

my support of other people. ---- like keeping conversations light , lightly supporting and encouraging members

sometimes I find it hard to write things into words , so sending hugs and sitting with members may be enough

it doesn't appear as if you are skimming the surface.--- thank you ,

how are you going today @Till23

Re: Tillogram

@Till23 I'm sorry that I haven't been there for you as much as I perhaps should have been. You were one of the first people to begin connecting with me.

I've had a lot going on and have been pretty quiet on the forums over the last couple of weeks, other than interacting with a few people over on my own thread and occasionally attempting and probably failing to join in on a few of the social chats. If I am one of the members who have been making you feel as if you are unimportant or ignored, I'm sorry. There are things going on in the background for me that I am trying to work my way through and some boundaries that I have had to put in place regarding my own capacity to provide support to others while I work through my stuff. It has nothing to do with you, I promise.

You are valued, you are cared for, and you are worthy!

Re: Tillogram

From my perspective @Shaz51 I think you do an excellent job of keeping conversations light and supporting other people. I, for one, appreciate your hugs

I see you sitting with so many people I think you may need to hire a community hall to fit them in 😂

Because I can hardly ever get the support button to work these days it is hard to acknowledge your hugs - so sorry about that. Sometimes I have posted saying I can't get the support button to work, but thanks. I kind of stopped doing that because I think the PSWs thought they had to acknowledge that comment and I know they are doing their best already and are super busy.

I am putting one foot unsteadily in front of the other which is sort of how I do things

Re: Tillogram

Hi @NightFury I have seen that you have been busy dealing with a lot of stuff and am sorry that you have had to do that due to circumstances in your life. I have no expectation that people "should" do anything with respect to me.

I know everyone else has their own things going on and you can't pour from an empty cup.

Much of the lower amount of interaction is because I have chosen to post little on the forums except in this thread and some of the other spaces. So please do not feel you "should" have done anything - you have a lot on

Re: Tillogram

As you always do. 🥰 @Till23

How are things feeling health-wise?

And have you been able to do anything that's just for you this week?

I am doing okay, thank you for asking - I am still house-hunting and recovering from what I think was Covid or the flu! 🤧

Re: Tillogram

Oh I'm sorry to hear you had COVID/flu @AuntGlow the rates of both are very high at the moment. Because my immune/inflammatory condition affects my lungs a lot, I always make sure I am up to date with all my vaccinations and often wear my mask - especially if I go anywhere that is crowded. The last couple of weeks I've been wearing it at the shops etc, really anytime I leave the house where I might encounter people

House hunting is hard and a bit depressing I have found.

Content/trigger warning

Mainly this week I have done lots of physical things to try to stop me thinking. I chopped a couple of hundred k1los of firewood, did a lot of things in my yard, ran around my yard over and over. So I count that as good, because I have achieved those things and got some exercise. I only sleep about 4-5hrs a night which is not good, but....

I wasn't able to make myself go to volunteering mainly because some of my injuries

Some of the things that I do are back from holidays after end of school holidays so I will be back to table tennis.
