Tillogram

Hi All

@tyme @AuntGlow @Jynx @rav3n @MJG017 @NightFury @Shaz51 @MissGremlin @Appleblossom @Dimity and many others I have accidentally forgotten to tag

Just letting people know I am back safely from my trip.

I had a great trip, my sport event was brilliant and then I travelled a little bit.

Not sure how much engagement I will have with forums as only just returned to this cold weather!

I'm not sure what's been happening, but I hope everyone is well.

Hi @tyme.. I hope you are well..

Thanks for checking in on me..

I really appreciate it..

I have been trying to manage my mental health by increasing my exercise.

Thanks for thinking of me.

Re: Tillogram

Hey @Till23 ,

I'm glad you know that exercising helps with the anxiety and depression. I've looked into research about it and they say that it has more benefits than antidepressants if done regularly... so way to go! I don't have that in me at the moment. Well... let's say I'm very time poor. I really should get back into it all.

Do you train on weekends too?

I've been thinking about you a lot and hope that your mood lifts. I really look forward to connecting with you and to know what we can do to support you better on the forums.

I admire your resilience and strength, as I know how hard things can be sometimes.

Take care.

Re: Tillogram

Hi @tyme.. I hope you are well,, despite being busy by the sound of it.. It certainly always seems to be busy here on the forums.. I know when I was working it was difficult to fit in much exercise

I also recently read an article that said exercise was found to be more beneficial than antidepressants for depression and anxiety under certain circumstances and depending on intensity and consistency of exercise.

Here's a kind of summary article it's not the one I mentioned above https://www.blackdoginstitute.org.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/Exercise-and-depression.pdf

Re: Tillogram

Hello lovely @Till23,

Just checking in - I have been wondering how you're going and if things have shifted for you at all? (It's also completely okay if not, and I would love to meet you in whatever space you're in.)

How has volunteering and sport been lately? 💛

Try now @Shaz51

Don't know why it did that.

I've released the posts.

You'd be surprised what we get as spam!!!

Re: Tillogram

Hey @Till23 ,

You're not raving. Thank you for sharing.

It's marvellous that despite how hard things are, you are able to stay on top of things and really push yourself.

I feel like we are so similar that way. For me though, I feel like the years I have now make up for all my 'lost' years when I was so so so unwell. Most of my early adulthood was consumed by ill health, so I feel I'm making up for it now.

I'm sorry to hear about the CSA triggers. I hope you have someone to support you through it, and the Lived experience stuff is okay for you. I hear that doing it doesn't mean you are okay - fair enough. I feel there is a fine line between pushing yourself and pushing yourself too far.

How was your day today anyway?

When do you go overseas again?

Re: Tillogram

Hi @AuntGlow,, I haven't seen you around lately.. I don't know if you've been away or if it's just that I haven't really been on the forums much..

Hi @tyme,, I hope you are both well..

I just wanted to say,, please don't think that you need to write to me,, if you'd rather interact with other people.. I completely understand..

I am feeling a bit stressed

I feel most of my life has been "lost years" @tyme. I have done some things but I feel like really I am disconnected a lot from my life.

.

I'm really sorry that my posts are not particularly recovery oriented, although I suppose I do say that I am trying to do things. Sorry

Maybe I should have kept with my decision to not post anything, or to leave, but I just don't have anyone to discuss stuff with. Writing stuff out helps I think. I should just write it but not post it.
