Tillogram

Hi All

@tyme @AuntGlow @Jynx @rav3n @MJG017 @NightFury @Shaz51 @MissGremlin @Appleblossom @Dimity and many others I have accidentally forgotten to tag

Just letting people know I am back safely from my trip.

I had a great trip, my sport event was brilliant and then I travelled a little bit.

Not sure how much engagement I will have with forums as only just returned to this cold weather!

I'm not sure what's been happening, but I hope everyone is well.

Re: Tillogram

Hey there @tyme and thanks for responding to my post.. I've had a couple of those 403 Forbidden things just now!. I hope you have settled back to Australian time after your trip..

It is good to be part of a community.. I understand that humans are social animals and connection is important. However, I am an introvert and pretty private. So although I want to have connections with people, I find it difficult and I have trust issues, due to childhood trauma.

I normally try not to be a glum presence, but I'm finding it difficult to be upbeat lately.

.

.

Sorry about the glum post. Also I'm very aware you are receiving many other people are tagging you and you need to respond to them.

Re: Tillogram

I've been thinking about you so much @Till23 . Thank you for tagging me in again. I really appreciated it.

Did you know I'm an introvert too? I don't like social things at all and need a lot of courage to get out there and also a lot of time to recover!

I was lying awake and couldn't sleep the other night and I was thinking of asking you about whether something has changed in terms of medication. Only because your posts seem 'different'. They are not wrong, but there has been a change, and I just wanted to make sure that it wasn't a medical issue impacting how you've been feeling. So maybe there is??

From everything you do, I can see you are a very self-sufficient and independent person. I see a lot of similarities in myself. I don't have the desire to settle with someone, nor have children... but sometimes I think, "What will I do in the future?" I'm open to hearing your insights... no that I think having someone will make things 'better'. But I hear what you are saying in terms of wishing there was just someone there when you need it most.

Hun, it's totally okay that some of our posts are glum for a period of time. That's the reality of mental health! There are times when we have the strength and resilience to help others, and there are times when we just need a shoulder to cry on.

Although I'm not with you physically, I' here, and I'm listening.

You are not alone. Be kind to yourself and tell yourself "I AM OKAY".

hugs.

Re: Tillogram

Hello @Till23 , @tyme 😍

I am getting more introvert

I was before but I feel like I am more so now than ever

Maybe it is the situation and the stage I am in now that is making me more to stay at home all the time

Re: Tillogram

That's interesting @Shaz51 .

I wonder if we end up reverting back to what we were when we were younger @Shaz51 ?

I reckon I'd be pretty happy staying home and not talking to anyone in real life later on. But then I may get lonely? Who knows?

Re: Tillogram

Hey @tyme,. I hope you are well.. I have not had the 403 Forbidden problem in last couple of days.. Therefore, I haven't been able to do any kind of investigation into it.. So sorry about that..

there has been no known change in my physical health..

Please don't spend any time lying awake thinking about me, I should be your least concern.

I am naturally an introvert, but due to CSA I sort of hid myself away. I can see in retrospect that was a coping mechanism, so probably my natural introversion got worse maybe, I don't know.

. I started feeling really lonely on here as well, that's a reason I wanted to leave.

@Shaz51 yes your situation with health etc and now no longer working means you probably don't get out as much so it seems youa re getting more introverted but I think introversion/extraversion is present from early life

I'm just raving now, sorry. I know you have heaps more important things to attend to.

In response to: Re: Tillogram

Re: Tillogram

No, you are not raving. I think it's a really important deep and meaningful conversation to have @Till23 . I'm going to think deeply about your post because I really value what you have shared.

And yes, I can see that your posts have changed because of how you are currently feeling. I'm glad you have been able to reach out to your GP about it. I've been recommended TMS, but have never had it. Have you?

I look at my sister with three kids, and the more I think about it, the more I say no thank you. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love kids. Maybe I'm just too selfish to have them because I want my own space and time...

Thank you for responding. Please let me know how you go with things.

Re: Tillogram

@tyme no,, I have never had it before,, hence my reticence.. I'm still not convinced I should go ahead with it now.. I think I need to get more information.. I like to research things..

@tyme , @Till23

Very true about your statements as it does start early

In mine , mum amd I were emotionally and mentally abused by my father until we left him when I was 10 because I became so sick and skinny

Then we lived which 3 different sets of aunties and uncles over the next 6 years

Then we moved into my grandparents house after they passed away

Visited dad when I was 17 where he physically abused me

Then my aunty and her 3 children moved in to live with us for 3 years

I can not have children of my own

And did not marry until I was 43

Even though I have adult step children, I know if something happens to Mr shaz , I will have no one
