Tillogram

Hi All

@tyme @AuntGlow @Jynx @rav3n @MJG017 @NightFury @Shaz51 @MissGremlin @Appleblossom @Dimity and many others I have accidentally forgotten to tag

Just letting people know I am back safely from my trip.

I had a great trip, my sport event was brilliant and then I travelled a little bit.

Not sure how much engagement I will have with forums as only just returned to this cold weather!

I'm not sure what's been happening, but I hope everyone is well.

Re: Tillogram

Oh no... are you still getting that page? We all get it from time to time. The 'reason' for it given by the tech team doesn't really wash down well, so I will escalate it again. Are you able to email a screenshot of the page if it happens again? (include the entire screen in the screenshot)?

@Till23

And from my end, no, I can't say the page means it's time to go for you. You know I always value your thoughts.

Re: Tillogram

Thanks @tyme ..

I hope you had a lovely trip and have recovered from the travel. I'm not sure if you were holidaying or doing something for work, but whichever I hope it was a great trip.

Thanks for supporting me throughout my time here. I started here not too bad, I could sustain a quite high level of engagement and I felt I was sometimes a bit useful. For the last 6 months or so, I have not been able to do it, I have not felt helpful. I know I am unwell and everyday I struggle. I log on nearly every day but I can't think what to say. Sorry

Re: Tillogram

Hey @Till23 ,

Please don't be too hard on yourself. It's totally okay if you feel you want a break from the forums. We recognise life cicumstances change and the forums may not be helpful for a particular time - it's totally okay.

Then, there are other times when forums are needed to fill that little 'gap'. That's also okay.

We totally respect your decision, but in no way are we telling you to move on.

Being back is good. It's taking time to get used to, but as I've mentioned before, it's good to be back in forumland.

Have you been doing much training lately? I'm guessing a lot of things don't start until later this year as they have a break over christmas and new year? @Till23

Re: Tillogram

Yes @tyme I found it difficult to adjust when I came back from overseas last year I had a bad case of jet lag. For me it depends if I travelled east to west or west to east - which I have found harder.

Re: Tillogram

Hey @Till23 ,

Yes, I've just read your post. Thank you for tagging me. I'm sorry to hear that everything sounds so hard at the moment, including the things you once enjoyed.

It's totally okay that you do not lie/talk about some of the things other members talk about here. I'm sure there are others who have similar interests to you. I personally value your expertise and knoweldge, and feel there is a significant need for members like you. Your story is inspirational.

At the same time, it's important to do what feels right for you. If it's not just the forums that are 'hard' at the moment, I wonder if there is some more support you can get out there to help you through? I think there's a program called Mindspot. Have you heard of it? Not sure if you can or are interested in having a look.

I value you. We value you. Please look after yourself. Take the time that you need.

Re: Tillogram

Thanks @tyme, I'm sorry if you are answering my post when you're not really on the forums..

As I've been away I haven't really worked out what's happening PSW/mods-wise, except that there a lot of new people.. Hopefully that will make it easier for all the support people (PSWs etc)

.

I will check out Mindspot, thanks for the resource.

I hope all the new changes work out for the people on the forums. Sorry I am not really in a head space to make any suggestions/give feedback.

Thanks for the support you have given me over the past year I've been here. I also thank the other PSWs, mods and forum members who have chatted with me, I don't want to tag them into a negative thread.

Re: Tillogram

Hello lovely! @Till23

Just checking in. I thought I responded to your last post here, but I think that might have been on another post, so making sure I am getting back to you now! 💛

How are things going with cleaning up your father's property? I can imagine this might bring up a lot of big feelings, so please know you can always talk to us about what is happpening in your mind or heart.

What you have expressed sounds really, really hard. I have experienced moments like this too and it can be incredibly confusing and painful to not know what's next or to find yourself disconnected from joy or hope. In these moments, I want you to remember how human this experience is. And I invite you to look at this as a sign that your nervous system may simply be needing slow and safe connection to what feels good - over time. So much has changed for you and I can hear how much you're needing a sense of purpose and friendship, and I absolutely, undoubtedly have faith you can cultivate both of these things this year. I think what's most important is allowing yourself the space and time to do so, and to practice radical self-compassion when your mind is busy. You deserve the love and kindness you share so freely with everyone else. 🥰

Re: Tillogram

Hi @AuntGlow I hope you are well.. I think you are more optimistic than I am.. I had another short-lived conversation in another space recently, but I decided to close that down as I didn't want to bother people with my stuff. I feel I'm currently not really giving back to the community as I hope I have done in the past. I'll miss some really lovely people on here, I hope they do well on their journeys.

I am sorry that you have experienced hard times as well, I hope you have completely recovered and have your own strategies in place for preventing recurrences and limiting any lingering effects. Your experiences are very useful in your work, even though I wish you had not experienced them, you have done well to use those experiences to help other people, which is a testament to your resilience and inner strength and your kindness. So thank you, I hope you find the work fulfilling because you do a lot of good on the forums.

Thanks for chatting with me since you joined the forums last year.
