Daily goals, motivation and check in

Daily goals, motivation and check in

I'm starting this discussion as a place where we can set our goals daily, help motivate each other to do them and then check in with how we went. It's a place to celebrate when we achieve them or just sit with each other if we didnt and are feeling down about it. Hopefully with encouragement and support from each other we'll tick lots of boxes for our daily goals and feel good about it. Please join in. 😊

Good morning everyone. Hope all is going well for yous guys. Things are pretty much th same here from day to day. Dishes. Washing. Make bed. Eating. Waking up and sleeping. Bit of music. Bit of TV. Getting out and about as much as i can. Catching up with friends is always good. Looking after cat and dog. Cleaning, scrubbing & tidying. A journal entry from time to time. Trying to always do the right thing bye myself and others. Getting medicine administered. Attending appointments. Plenty of spare time to think. Paying bills. Cooking. Ect.

Ambitious goals. I could be doing art, music and writing more often. And planning for some bigger stuff in future. Apart of me is reallypissed at the system too. And one of my goals is to let them know about it. And not have them brain wash me in return

Made bed ..... ✅

Walked for coffee ..... ✅

Returned for a breakfast with the kids ..... ✅

Stooged around at the shops for the rest of the day so I didn't have to go home until they closed .... ✅

Brought home essential shopping to uphold appearances .... ✅

Cooked dinner ....or rather .... rehashed left-overs ..... 😏 ✅

Hiding out in the bathroom from a family movie I''m not that into ..... ✅

I'll call that "having a day" .....

Just a bit numb this week @oceangirl .... it's been hard-going ... WH has been very uptight and controlling, but the tension relaxed a lot today, without knowing the reason, so that left me wanting to just not be at home. It helped me to find my feet again so I am feeling okay .....

D3 came shopping with me, so I wasn't alone for the afternoon.

WH leaves again on Monday to go over east. I will try to settle into my painting then.

How are you going ?

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

I am glad you had the company of D3 and spend some time together @Faith-and-Hope . I am sorry to hear you had a tough week and I hope you have a better week coming up. I know what it feels like to feel numb and its good that you are aware of your emotions.

I am doing better and seem to be making progress still from my hospital admission. I was able to open up to my GP the other day and truly tell her what as been going on for me. It was an issue that needed to address and I clearly stated what the problem was and how it made me feel and to contain the content and my feelings. I was not expecting me to get emotional doing this and what was good was that I was able to drop into my feelings. I think this is a next forward for me, I was actually relived to feel such raw emotions and to be able to take back more of my onion layer.

I am not sure exactly what I will be doing tomorrow- visting family and to do a river walk- I think that will be my priority for tomorrow..

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Today I have to clip my little dog! I went for a walk in a new place yesterday, a look out where the traditional land owners of my area used to gather for 'meetings'. It's a lovely place, though a bit of an uphill march. Halfway up I realized the little fella was absolutely covered in prickles, all sorts; I got some of the larger ones out, but there's thousand of tiny littel ones tha I haven't got a hope! So clipping his feet, belly, bottom and face is a must!!

Niqueeta1, my first dog was like that. I have a foxey now (short hair) so much eaaiwe. Pets are worth all their trouble. Just love the way mine greets me when I get home, as if I've been gone forever, cute & loving
